Dalek44's Thomascember - 78. Thomas And Percy's Christmas Adventure 

I think some people have attempted to edit the US dub of this episode to include Christmas.

This is my favourite Christmas episode.

Thanks to the Peep Peep Party DVD this episode sits well as a rewatch every Christmas. Massive respects to the team behind this.

I love the original Christmas version of this story it was a lovely way to end series 3.. well done on another great thomascember mate and hope you have a great new year… ps one Thanksgiving movie I recommend is Planes Trains and Automobiles written by the legendary late John Hughes and starting late John Candy and Steve Martin

That was a wonderful review of the episode #Dalek44. This story is another one of my favourites too. I love the music and the snowy scenes from after the storm were always intriguing to me. Like how James, Douglas and the workmen tried to do their work. The parts with Thomas, Percy, Harold and Terence coming to the rescue of the mountain village were super. I often got a laugh at the way Michael Angelis said as Terence 'Lovely Stuff'. The surprise at Tidmouth Sheds was a complete surprise to me.when I first saw that. Well done on another brilliant Thomascember. I look forward to next year's lot 😀.

This has to be a grand finale to Series 3. I always saw the episode a lot on VHS such as Escape, Thomas's Christmas Party and The Complete 3rd Series. Plus I don't understand why the american dub had to be changed to thanksgiving when they could have kept the original dub like in the UK. Plus they could have kept it for a Christmas Shining Time Station Episode with George Carlin.

I always loved this episode. It was always my favourite Christmas episode of The TV Series. I loved the winter sets, as it looked nice and festive. And it was funny seeing James struggling to move the trucks out of the snow (imagine how ticked off he was. XD). I also enjoyed seeing Donald clearing the snow as well. The rescue was nice and action packed as well, especially the scenes with Harold (I find it funny how he dropped some parcels onto the human props. XD), and Terrence. It was funny when Percy was confused who Santa was. The music was nice and festive as well. And the ending scene was really nice as well, as it was sweet how the villagers repaid Thomas and Percy by repainting the sheds. I too feel sorry for Americans as well, since Britt really made the wrong choice by making this a Thanksgiving episode rather than Christmas.

I certainly love this episode. Obviously, I enjoy a Christmas special, and this one is no exception! The story is so action-packed, in Thomas, Percy, Terence and Harold saving a village trapped in snow! And indeed, that ending is really beautiful! As always, the sets covered in snow and the music are so marvellous! One of my absolute favourites from series 3, as well as one of my absolute favourite Thomas & Friends Christmas episodes! It's just so awesome! (And I'm glad I grew up in the UK watching it, since the US dub made no sense being set at Thanksgiving, plus the music and sound effects were out of sync thanks to the cut of the conversation about Santa Claus. I prefer the UK dubs anyway; they really suit the show, having a British setting.)

So, well, it’s obviously gonna be Series 4 in next year’s Thomascember season, isn’t it matey?

Will you still continue Thomascember?

If this episode was only dubbed for a STS episode involving Thanksgiving and have the episode retained its original nationality on US home media releases, then it would've been tolerable. But to just have it be dubbed with one US holiday term by itself is just baffling cause then they'd have to contain out of sync edits, having its original UK title, etc is just nonsensical. And it's just a shame that George Carlin never got to re-narrate the episode with Christmas before his passing too.
