My twenty year old Dali 202 blew a tweeter, and guess what...they still have spares and I received a replacement last week. Now that is SUPER impressive 👍
Paul Z We're pleased to hear that your DALI 202s are still going strong. :) We commit us to supply spare parts for at least 10 years after a series is discontinued. But the spare parts stock often lasts longer. /Dennis
Just received Zensor 7, Vokal + Zensor 1 for rear channels. Absolutely gorgeous speakers with beautiful voice and sound. I love them. Aloha from Honolulu, Hawaii!
Vv hese The real meaning of Aloha in Hawaiian is that of Love, Peace, and Compassion. It’s the guidelines of how to live - a life of Aloha is one when the heart is so full it is overflowing with the ability to influence others around you with your spirit. Many people when coming to Hawaii feel the need to say “Aloha” every time they see someone, and every time they say goodbye. This in a way weakens the strength of the word. Saying “Aloha” should come genuinely from the heart, as that is what it means: sincerity of the heart.
I helped make speakers for PMC, Spendor, LINN, Rel Acoustics, Harbeth to name a few, for around ten years. Now I bought a house and the first set of loud speakers I purchase for my set-up, are Dali's!! My centre speaker grille has a tiny mark on the cloth, would it be difficult to acquire a new grille if ever I need to? I am spending tonight testing my set-up with the Dali CDs, fun times.
I just bought two pairs of Rubicon LCR's for my surrounds and rears. They sound so beautiful. I am SO tempted to change my fronts and centre speaker now.
I remember back to 2000' ,a good friend and saleman. he had in the store a setup for demo of 5.1 Dali euphonia.I remeber stil today this wonderfull sound from this series...!!!
@@dalispeakers I saw you guys at CEDIA in Indianapolis I believe in 2005 and ended up with ms4 ,then ms5 cs4,rs3 aws,and Phantom. Loved them! I now need to inquire about hybrid tweeter module but cant find phone number?
Hi @donreynolds5387 . Spare parts can be ordered through your local dealer or distributor. You can find your nearest dealer at our website. Regards the DALI team
@@dalispeakers This is the second time I have left this reply....the dealer I bought all my wonderful Dali gear is no longer in business. I used to deal with you directly as did others I know. i need to know how to procure another Euphonia hybrid tweeter module for IWS 3 s/n 2380041. Please help
Having a set of Dali speakers is like owning a cat, you can’t have just the one. Started off with just a front set of Dali speakers, and now have a full surround sound set up. Awesome speakers!
PA speakers are made better than the high price stuff .A lot of us have found that a set of PV and other PA speakers sounds better than the high price stuff .Yes I know because I use PV speakers with my HiFi . Alot of use DJ equipment with HiFi's.
I am just getting in with Dali speakers. Want to buy the new Dali Menuet SE! Wich av receiver must i buy, because i have 5.1 surround now. My receiver is Denon avr-X1400H(without pre-outs)or is it oke ?. I know a amp is better for stereo but i don't have:( Thanks.
Have had zensor then soector6 which I found more expansive and now Oberon 7 which produces much more defining sound. Tried opticon 6 but since my recordings( live Indian classicals mainly from audience) r in mp3 format in discs and now from you tube found distortions also magnified too much. Hence settled with Oberon 7. Dali adheres to their motto in admiration of music. Simply superb. One question I am still driving Oberon 7 with denon 540 bt. 90 w PC two ch driven. Is it okay or I should get 1500h. Being an almost nonagenarian money is in short supply.

I need help we love your speakers but one of my mids are not working & i need to replace it, but for 4-60 months i Have been trying to get help, no one seems to help me not even venders here in california & even where i bought them ..lol cant believe it but i love your speakers but i might have to switch brands if this is how customers are taken care of, your you tube video sounds that you care about your product but i feel that your venders are not representing your product services well
Hi. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Please send your request through our contact form (www.dali-speakers.com/technical-support), and we will see to, that you get the needed help. Regards, Dennis
Hi amdnovello. We have tried to look in the archives, but we haven't had any luck in finding the papers on this particular speaker model. Sorry. /Dennis
I'm afraid not. We don't have the resources to arrange tours, and it would also disturb our production. We would much rather focus on getting our products out on time. But do drop by our stand, when we are at hi-fi shows, to get a chat.
Use a bed-sheet or something similar, and be just careful not to bump your speakers in corners ;) There's a channel from Japan here on RU-vid for a company that restore vintage JBL-speakers. Something about Kenrick Sound i believe. There you can see how they move speakers in and out of a building. Speakers that are WAY bigger than these speakers. :)
I have been researching high-end, affordable bookshelf speakers for a few months now, and have narrowed it down to DALI Zensor 1 or Zensor 3 or JBL Monitor 530. I wish I could actually spend an hour with each to assess the sonic merits of each speaker, but obviously this isn't practical. I desire timbral accuracy, presence, imaging, inner detail, speed, accurate bass (for what I can get from a smaller bookshelf model), etc. My other main 2-channel systems have Magnepan MG12/QR, and vintage Polk Audio Monitor 10 speakers circa 1986 (when Polk was a true high-end company before they went mass market). I have a few systems throughout my house, as I am a huge music junkie! Thanks.
Hi! Have purchased a pair of Dali Oberon5's and I'm very disappointed to see that they are made in the PRC! I try to avoid purchasing anything from the PRC due to their dreadful human rights record, etc. I spent a lot of time auditioning speakers within my budget and was under the impression that Dali manufactured in Denmark. I'm not very pleased! Thank You.
Hi David. Thank you for your interest in our products. All DALI products are designed and developed in Denmark, but certain products (where price is an important factor to the customer), we manufacture at our own factory in Ningbo or use a trusted partner. The DALI OBERON series is assembled by our Chinese colleagues at DALI Ningbo, where the facilities and standards are the same as in Denmark. Furthermore, DALI Ningbo is run by a Danish CEO and our Chinese colleagues are trained by Danish personnel. This means the quality is the same as if the speakers were made in Denmark. So we try to do things a bit differently than the general manufacturer.
@@dalispeakers Thank You for your prompt response. The quality may be the same as if they were built in Denmark, but I'm not very pleased. They are still in the box, due to the house redecorating, but I'm possibly going to return them to Richer Sounds in due course. Sorry! I expected it to be manufactured in Denmark, NOT the PRC! I won't be buying any Dali products ever again.
@@davidpike9590 We still assemble FAZON, OPTICON, RUBICON, MENUET, CALLISTO, EPICON, PHANTOM and our SUBs in Nørager, Denmark. So roughly 80% of our speaker ranges are assembled in Denmark. Try to find that figure with any other speaker brand. We wish you all the best in your search.
We're pleased to hear that you like the design of our speakers. Have you ever heard any of our speakers - besides at exhibitions in bad acoustically environments? We have enrolled our patented SMC technology to almost every current range, which drastically reduces distortion compared to traditionel driver technology.
Dear Team Dali, I noticed that one of the engineers in the video was wearing a Breitling watch. Please ask yourself this - would you buy a Breitling made in China or a Porsche or a Rolex for that matter made in China?
Would you buy a Tesla or an Apple product? Yes, of course! Made in China. The thing is that we have our own factory in China, DALI Ningbo, with European working conditions and a Danish CEO. That said, we are also working on bringing more production to Denmark, but that is directly tied to delivering issues due to Covid-19 and not quality issues.
@@dalispeakers I don't use Apple products for that reason and I would never buy a Tesla. I was putting you guys in the same group as Rolex and Porsche 🤣 Honestly if you have to charge people an extra $100 to ensure made in Denmark then please do. People are ready to buy premium products MADE IN EUROPE.
Why do these high end speaker use cheap crossover parts for there speakers? I know it is to save money, but what about their mission in creating the best possible sound. Crossover is a huge part in how these speakers will sound.
We are not sure what you mean about "cheap parts"? What is your knowledge about which parts that we use for our EPICON crossover? Our aim is not only to create the best possible sound, we also want to make it affordable. It is "easy" to make some of the world's best speakers, if the price was no issue. :) But the REAL challenge is to make world class speakers, which most people can actually afford to buy. With that said, we can't agree upon using cheap parts for our prime speakers.
True it is a huge challenge to build a speaker that sounds good that doesn't take a life time of saving on a working man's budget. However why don't companies clone or invent parts that sound just as good as the components in the past that have been time tested and successful. The younger generation is always on the look out for gear that is a true 80-90% of companies flagship model at a tenth of the cost. But in the speaker world you have to wait a few decades on the used market to find that kind of a deal. Take the turntable cartridge industry for example, sure you can buy a $10,000 cartridge but what are the people really buy in droves? Ortofon 2ml, budget Soundsmith, Dynavector, Audio Technica and so on. We really don't care that the product is pretty, made in some special factory, or has a name brand glued on the side of it. I know that is not fair, however it is what the market will bear and a lot of companies fail to see this. With all the social media of people breaking down what really makes up companies products it is hard to pull the wool over people's eyes anymore, we now have the capability to be a really informed customer. Take a look at the millions of YouTbue channels that do this. Guitar manufactures come to mind when I think of companies that are learning the hard way of people will not being fooled into buying a $5,000 guitar anymore when a little of work on their $500 dollar model will get them there if not better. I see this in the speaker world as well, a lot of savvy people are DIYing speakers to get the performance they want at a fraction of the price. Of course if a company were to come out with a speaker that had what they wanted at a price that made it stupid to try and build or modify it yourself, can you imagine the sales of this speaker.
Is every DALI product Dennis? I am fed up with China made KEF R series who are defectively made. There woofer and midrange go blank. Even wooden enclosure is made of poor MDF and LDF. Please reply. I am from India.
Beside our factory in Denmark, where we assemble most of our products, we also have our own factory located in Ningbo, China, which is run by a Danish CEO. At the DALI Ningbo factory, our Chinese colleagues assemble drivers and speakers based on their training and knowledge from their Danish colleagues. This includes the OBERON series. Never the less, all DALI speakers are designed and developed in Nørager, Denmark.
I use Dali's in every room and they're awesome speakers.....But mine say Made in China on the back, not made at some wonderful Danish studio/workshop. They're probably none the worse for it, afterall it's just screwing some pieces together, but .....
You can be rest assured that all of our products are designed and developed in Denmark, and most of these are assembled at our factory in Nørager, Denmark. On top of that, we also have our own factory in China, DALI Ningbo, which is on par with our Danish production. It is run by a Danish CEO and our staff has been trained by experienced colleagues from Denmark. Here we manufacture some of our entry level speakers together with a selection of drivers. So quality wise, there is no difference in products assembled in Nørager or Ningbo. :)
@@dalispeakers Thank you for your honest and informative reply. I'm very happy indeed with my Spektor 6s, 'entry level' maybe but more than adequate given the size of my rooms. Perhaps a tiny bit dull at low volumes, but when driven a little harder they really sing and belie their price tag. I don't have a problem with Chinese manufacturing, we're one big world and really all not that different.
Hi atamhkghk11nc. She do wear a ring, but every high-gloss finish is polished and checked manually before packaging. If there should be a scratch, the cabinet is discarded. So no need to worry. /Dennis
"I prepare to buy the IKON 6 Mk2" Good choice. Just listened to them some weeks ago. But you should listen to the Zensor series as a comparison to the Ikon 6 ;)
We're pleased to hear that you liked our previous speakers. One of the main differences from our early speakers until today is that most our latest speakers are free of colorization. A lot of audiophiles prefer this, and we do as well, while others prefer a warm and heavy bass. There is a lot of brands out there that deliver colorized and boomy sound, but we don't want to go into that category.
You rich people buy Hugh price stuff . You are paying for the cabinet. I us PV speakers with my HiFi . DJ equipment sounds great 👌 with my HiFi. Yes I be may not be rich but not crazy. Just car's and home"s high price is not all Way's good.
