----
Dallas Austin opened up to VladTV about working with Boyz II Men after the success of their first album, Cooleyhighharmony, and seeing a big change in their egos. Austin explained that he didn't like working with them in the studio on the second album, and he added that he was fed up with working with them after working on the first song for the project. He went on to share a story about the group being disrespectful to Babyface in the studio, which you can hear more about above.

Name some R&B groups from the 90s that did anything after the 90s. You can’t, because they don’t exist. The industry changed. R&B groups pretty much don’t exist anymore - because there’s no money in it. Boyz II Men’s Full Circle album from 2002 had some phenomenal songs on it. They sounded great. It didn’t sell though. NO music that sounded like that was selling.

That explains a LOT actually. Because I wondered why they worked with big name producers less and less after II, and they started writing and producing their own stuff, which was inferior. This story leads me to think Jheryl Busby kept things together and then it was basically a wrap once they left Motown. They thought they were hot shit and didnt need anybody and the second they were on their own, the hits stopped.

We all came from nothing and want to obtain something. How long we keep it, is totally up to us and our ability to stay humble and treat others the way we want to be treated. Interesting. I would've never guessed that Boyz II Men were cocky. In they prime, when they ruled the early to mid 90's, I could see why. They were everything. They songs were solid and meaningful. They vocals were primo. When artists get a taste of fame, fortune and it works out, I don't mind them being cocky. This is from the outside looking in, of course. Working w/ that kinda energy must be a pain in the butt though. Hell, they weren't much to look at so they talent had to do all the work. By 1997, folks were over it and moved on to Dru Hill and them. Out w/ the old and in w/ the new. _End of the Road_ v. _I'll Make Love to You._ That's interesting. I have to go by feeling because vocally, they're both obviously dope. I still own _End of the Road_ on cassette single because it holds sentimental value. My mind says to go w/ _End of the Road,_ but my heart says to go w/ _I'll Make Love to You._ Either way it's a win-win because Wayna and that long head man did they thing.

Dallas doesn't strike me as a liar so i believe what he's saying about Boyz II Men and that shit is sad i mean i try to look at all perspectives of any given situation so i understand infinitesimally how they could be that way coming from no money to millionaires not everyone can control their instincts and attitudes but ultimately there's still no good excuse for it..there's excuses but none i can think of that are near good enough to cover that kind of behavior... I've had to struggle most of my life but I'd never ever let money change me..make me a billionaire I'd still be in Vans or Superstars and Khakis and in the Bronx ..maybe a change of venue to 3 bedroom house..maybe ..but I for damn sure wouldn't waste it on bullshit like Jewelry..just me though..Dallas though it's ridiculous how artists like him and TLC can be broke or near broke selling millions of records but this a world where Vets are homeless so it's not that surprising..I'm glad he got what was owed to him ..my man should've told they asses off..Babyface and Dallas even back then we're legendary, y'all was still working on that kind of status

Shiquila S Shiquila S Boyz II Men continues to tour and sell out shows. They have a steady residency in Las Vegas since 2013. They have toured with New Kids on the Block, BbD, En Vogue. A lot of their shows are solo. Majority of their shows are sold out. Just cause you are not checking for them doesn’t mean they fell off. A lot of artists do things outside of music. Shawn has a foundation and business with his wife. He also release an EP and is working on his solo album. Nate flips houses and Wanya is working on his music. They are still very much Boyz II Men and very much in demand. They are legendary. I have met them several times and they have been nothing but nice. Sure ppl have bad days and they don’t feel 100% like themselves but assholes are not them. Not after the 1st album. They have admitted their faults and owned up to wrong doings. Nate tells the story of turning down I’ll Make Love to You as well as Amazed which earned another group a Grammy. Don’t go based off what you think you know but based off facts. I have met them, the band, managers, staff and all of them are nice. One experience doesn’t define a person. Ppl think my ass is mean but that’s their perspective of an interaction and not necessarily me. The last album they release was 2014. They recorded a song with Snoop last Xmas and currently working Country and Bluegrass artists.
