Why does everyone have us taking a RT, we need a LT..not someone who has the athletic ability to slide from RT to LT.. We don't have the coaching ability nor time to successfully transition a player from one side to the other as a starter.. Take the C from Oregon if there, if not there, try(notice correct spelling of word)not tryna...try for trade down..
Thanks for the feedback, but I disagree. I think he’s the type of back the Cowboys need, big and physical. I would be happy with him or Braelon Allen. Both are good at breaking tackles and underrated in the open field. Estime isn’t the fastest, yet he had a lot of big runs for Notre Dame. Speed isn’t everything, it’s important but shouldn’t be the only factor.
@DC4L99 I'm with you on Braelon so much so I'd gamble on him late in the 2nd round but Estime looks real slow to me. I agree about needing a big power back I just wouldn't spend a 2nd on him esp. when Braelon comes with size and speed. I do think they need to identify the best RB available and take him in the 2nd.
I could live with Fuaga there, Estime is way too early, you could get him in the 4th if we acquire one, much better RB’s ahead of him. I would go LB in the 3rd and get a top three LB, or Frazier at OC then LB. Overall you have a terrible draft for the Cowboys.
I have a feeling there will either be a run on running backs in rounds 2-3. Or there could be a ton of them still available into 4-5th even. Just depends on how the board falls, a lot of teams spent on backs in free agency already. Gotta factor that in as well.
@@DC4L99 I didn’t mean to be so harsh on you. To me this is a deep draft class for OL, LB and RB, being that there is no premium on RB anymore in the NFL like there used to be. I would shore up our OL, DL, LB and even WR before getting a RB. You can get a Shipley late or Braelon Allen even later in my opinion. Look up Braelon Allen if you haven’t already. I like Hunter Nouzard in the 7th also, he’s solid and has played OT, C and Guard.
I completely agree @@_DB.COOPER I'd love a trade back, to pick up another 3rd or 4th (or maybe both). What do you think about that? Is that the best case scenario for this team
Why would they pick a RT when they need help at LT or LG and tre benson will probably be there in the 3rd or you take him in the 2nd and a LB in the 3rd a DT another OL and maybe a WR
Thanks for the mock. I've now changed my strategy on this draft. I think the Cowboys need to spend the first three or four picks on defense. They need to send the message that they aren't going to give Prescott a bunch of rookie talent on offense just so he can showcase himself during his free agent year. They should show him that whatever he does this year will be done with what's left of last year's offense. I might pick some developmental players on day three, but I'm not going to spend early picks on offense. I realize that not everyone wants to go in that direction. Even with that in mind, this draft is problematic because it doesn't fix the defense. Maybe the Oregon State tackle has played both left and right side. The need for the Cowboys right now is on the left side. If this guy can't go there, he's not a good pick. Audric Estime would be a good choice for the Cowboys if they didn't have so many other needs. I can't see any way that the Cowboys can afford a wide receiver if they don't trade down and get a huge number of extra picks. I think that the defensive tackle from Texas A&M is a great choice. I'm skeptical of whether the other two defensive players would be real contributors.
Fuaga wont be there when we pick…RB from ND a reach in round 2. Round 3 a 3 tech we have few of those, need a 1 tech. I like USC Wr at 5, i like the Center at 6. I like the iLB at 7. C-
Marshon Lloyd/USC .. Big sized back with speed and slash .. my #1 RB. 220/lbs .. 4.4 .. Able to make room where there is none with his cutting skills.. Big enough to run w power.
Fuaga will not be there at 24. 2nd round pick is not good. He has a 4th round grade on him. Dallas needs to trade down multiple times in the 1st round in order to fill all of their needs.
Cowboys needs a new owner, that is willing to spend money, & someone knows how to be a General Manager, think about ALL of the fans, NOT his assistance who, just like his CRAZY son Steven Jones.
