these are my thoughts on Micah’s trade value and what we could do with the draft picks. Also, a ton of money is saved by not having to extend him. Micah Parsons is about to be due $33M+ , and as poorly as jones has managed the salary cap, it’s just not feasible to be paying that type of money to Parsons, particularly when he hasn’t been very effective any the big games he’s been in. His value is very high right now. You can move parsons for at least 2 firsts and a 2nd. Perhaps even more. You draft the following 1st round edge 1st round DT 2nd round LB With this you’ve replaced everything Micah does and more, at a fraction of his cost. In 3-4 years you have to pay all 3 and yes, you trade one of them and repeat the process. You can do this because of how well the front office drafts. You’re not forced to extend everyone for fear of losing talent. You turn over the roster and get better and cheaper. Compare Micah @ $33.5M or so With Rookie 1st round edge $3M Rookie 1st round DT $3M Rookie 2nd round LB $1.5M Total = $7.5M That’s a savings of about $26M per year. In 4 years that $100M savings for those 3 players, instead of Micah.

Cee Dee will get paid by the regular season, and Micah, tagged or not, will get paid as well unless his play drops off next year. Id love to get rid of McCarthy for Belichick, but Jerry likes his control and yes men. Unless that changes, and its happened ONCE since 1994, he would never hire Bill Belichick because that means LESS POWER. I simply doubt that happens. My prediction is this. If we lose in the first round again, and the defense plays well, McCarthy will be out, and Mike Zimmer will get promoted. Zimmer will coach whomever Jerry wants happily, and hes been a coach for us in the past.

Well, in all fairness, all those guys were/are on a team that has not done well in the playoffs. I don't blame Jerry. If these guys are as good as these two guys think they are, then one of those guys should have been a difference maker. We're they? I didn't see it. The NFL is about winning a CHAMPIONSHIP, and ALL of those guys did not win Dallas a championship. So, why pay them as though they did?

I watched Micah's RU-vid videos and I think he does a great job with his guests. I say that to say he's FOCUSED on making himself AND his team BETTER. This is a smear campaign against him and Lamb. So these "geniuses" advice is "pay everyone the max now, because the max will be more expensive later"?! How many players on one team can make top of the market money?! The QB is the only one truly worth it, although it was still a dumb contract by giving away tag and trade rights! The most successful team in modern history did it because their HOF QB LEFT MONEY ON THE TABLE so they could get other quality players! Except during the Randy Moss years (I don't know what his salary was), the Patriots won with a diverse group of receivers who were NOT making 'max" money. i was fine with the Raiders trading Mack away. As nice as it is to have a top notch pass rusher, THEY ARE NOT GAME CHANGERS when it comes to championships. What has Mack done for the Bears....nothing. Cee Dee Lamb is good but he isn’t a top 5 WR. The Bengals have a similar problem right now. Tee Higgins is a dam good WR but he isn’t a top5 guy and he expects to be compensated as such. This year on. The franchise tag he is making a top 5 salary for this year. But teams aren’t going to bend over backwards to bend over backwards to get him. He isn’t Jamar Chase and neither is Lamb. I’m sorry he just isn’t. Chase is a special special player. He and Jefferson don’t come along everyday. And the facts that LSU had 2 of those guys on the same team is just staggering. This year again Nabers and Thomas are the best WRs in the class in last years class or in 2022 class. Nabers is a Chase Jefferson type player. I think Thomas is too. I know Nabers is but I think Thomas Is too. Chase and Jefferson are in the same group as Randy Moss and Megatron and Anquan Boldin. Those guys who when you see them play you are like “Ok now I see what you mean”. Game Changers.
