Mike T. keeps proving to us why he is an analyst and no longer a GM. I get it from a financial perspective but you still have Trey Lance on your roster who has yet to play a full season since he was drafted. You are better off drafting two good lineman with your 1st and 2nd round picks and leave the QB room as is for now.

They can’t do anything about Dak this year except get him to sign an extension and convert his 56MIL into a signing bonus, or what Jerry is more likely to try and do push it back through more years while trying to get him to remove his no trade/cut/franchise tag clause. Having Lance play this year while Dak rides the bench still making all that money makes no sense considering if Lance was actually that good, he would be starting for the 49ers.

What makes these "experts" think Dallas is "close" to a Super Bowl? Because they win 12 games, most of which are against awful teams then collapse in the playoffs year after year after year dating back to Romo. Unless they get rid of the salary cap they have to. They aren’t going to be able to give Parsons, CeeDee & Dak max money when Dak alone is supposed to eat up 55-60mil of the cap even with the 50 mil expansion of the cap? They need to just get rid of the salary cap. At this point it’s just an excuse to underpay players.

"All in" means one thing only, this is Dak and Mike McCarthy's final year to get Dallas two playoff wins in a row. Championship game or bust. CeeDee and Micah are going to get paid. Can't have highest paid QB,WR,Defensive player in the NFL at the same time. You get 2 of the 3. If Dak takes Dallas to the Championship game, he and Micah will get paid. If Dak doesn't, CeeDee and Micah get paid, Dak and McCarthy are let go. Belicheck will be hired Dallas already drafted a QB in the 2024 draft, Trey Lance,4th round. Dallas drafts Offensive linemen as good or better than any team in the league. Bet their first 3 draft picks will have 2 Offensive lineman and a RB.

Why does the NFL even still have a salary cap at this point? Don’t they make more money than ever with these exclusive tv deals & skyrocketing stadium prices? Dallas didn’t go after Derrick Henry? Because they can’t afford him. What he’s looking for per year Dallas doesn’t have the cap space because they can’t do anything with Dak’s contract who rightfully doesn’t want to give up any money or his no trade/cut/franchise tag clauses since Jerry has been stupidly stubborn with paying the man.

Agreed.... the vikings have the most ready made offense a rookie QB could want! Qb friendly HC, better than average WRs and TE. Good tackles and interior! I say they should sell out this years draft for maye but I doubt the top 3 would move. I can see the vikings settling for penix viewing the price being too high. But penix can be a really good QB

I don’t understand what the giants are doing at all. They need help on the o line, need 1-2 WRs, a RB to replace Saquon, and you’re talking about another QB? They should have kept Tyrod who carved up the Eagles at the end of the season with all the same lack of help that Jones had when he was getting sacked and turning the ball over.

I could see Dallas taking advantage of the fact that QB Spencer Rattler will fall and draft him. Only to start the next process in the Tony Romo/Dak Prescott saga with another 3rd/4th round QB selection. Since I can honestly see teams over value QBs and 6 of them go in the first round, those QBs being: 1. Caleb Williams to Chicago Bears 2. Jayden Daniels to Washington Commanders 3. Drake Maye to New England Patriots 4. JJ McCarthy to Minnesota Vikings 5. Bo Nix to Denver Broncos 6. Michael Penix Jr to Las Vegas Raiders

Dallas cannot win now because they stink😂 they’re not even close at the moment. Jones knows this and would’ve extended Dak if they felt they were close. Also, Dak should accept 40m a year as Texas has no tax, he gets an extra 10m in endorsement deals as qb of the cowboys and the fact he’s around the 10th-12th best qb in the league.

Yes. Because Jerry is cheap. It’s why the Cowboys are “tHe MoSt VaLuAbLe FrAnChIsE” in the NFL. Because they make the most money inspite of their lack of success since 1996. Jerry has never wanted Dak as his QB and doesn’t want to pay him.

Draft a QB. Dak isn’t worth 55-60 million. Use the extra money to replenish your roster. Hard to be a complete team and pay everyone if you pay Dak. And Dak has not earned that kind of contract anyways. He’s been hot garbage in the playoffs.
