The schools where I live in Texas you have to show ID to get past the secure fully locked entrance room. Then they have an officer wand you before you can enter beyond the entryway. *Edit* After further research, this school has metal detectors at all entrances, how did a student get a gun into the building?

Why didn't they identify the suspect's name?

Who was the shooter? was he a student? was he arrested? What was his name? WTF

So what happened to the kid doing the shooting? He didnt mention anything about that? . Is he dead, arrested, or is on the run somewhere?.

And what does this suspect look like?

If my child was in there, I guess I would be arrested, because that is the only way they would be able to keep me from going in the building and getting them out. I sure as heck would not be waiting around outside. Holding the students inside and not escorting them out right away when the coast is clear is simply criminal.
