Such a great player. I was a Ranger fan in 1994 when he was part of the team winning the cup. I remember being so upset when Rangers traded him. It was such a stupid trade in my opinion. I am so happy for him.

Then my Pens traded him off for past his prime Kevin Hatcher. I was so damn disappointed, but everyone else in Pittsburgh at the time was thrilled because Zubov "didn't shoot enough". One of the worst trades in Pens history if you ask me.

It’s hilarious seeing some Rangers getting mad his number is being retired the same day as Lundqvist when: 1. Zubov literally won a cup with the Rangers 2. Starts announced the date they were retiring his number before the Rangers

Saw too much of that all over instagram. Hank was a great goalie, but people are seriously undervaluing how great a defenseman Zubov was.

From a Pens fan that wishes he never got traded, I'm really glad to see Zubov getting the recognition he deserved. I didn't expect him to get into the Hall so quickly, but he deserved that for sure, and of course getting his number retired. A great defenseman, who was awesome to watch. 👍

Dallas was always my favorite team in NHL games. Mike, Brett, Jere, Zubby, Darian, Eddie, Joe, Guy, Jamie, Darryl, good old days)

We call it NHL but actually it's IHL - international hockey league. It's nice idea - best players from all the world play together in one league. And Sergey Zubov is one of them. He took Stanley Cup twice and he deserved this cudos

Это очень здорово, но лучшие времена, мне кажется, Зубов провел все-таки в "Рейнджерах". Как они тогда рубились с Ванкувером Буре, это было офигенно. Легендарный финал. Тем не менее и Далласу спасибо. Ну и общие аплодисменты всех любителей хоккея великому игроку.

55 year history? So they're including Minnesota history along even though they say established 1993. Team should have changed name upon relocating. Minnesota is the Northstar state not Texas.
