Traffic was a mess after the storms rolled through. Streets in low-lying areas flooded quickly from two weeks of saturation. This has been a busy stretch for Dallas Fire-Rescue as well.

"And drains are clogged from construction debris" 2:29 The construction will further reduce the ability of the ground to handle the rain. But we know that adequate and well maintained drainage facilities will be part of the construction. We do know that don't we?
