You walk into the room, curious about what’s coming from the speakers, as it sounds vaguely familiar... you look up at the screen, and yes, you guessed it: it’s the opening chords to this song... only about 7 seconds in. Your introduction to The Brobecks is THIS version of this song. Not thinking it’s at all possible, your love and appreciation for Dallon is instantly multiplied tenfold. When you reach that 2nd verse... words escape you. Chills up & down the spine. Goosebumps... everywhere. Body hair standing at attention. Your head is swirling. When it eventually concludes, and you’re fumbling for the repeat button, you curse yourself for taking this long to listen to this band. Proceed to listen at least 6 more times, each play better than the last. And that, my friends, is the story of what just happened to me about 20 minutes ago. Holy fuck.
