I came here just because of Dalton! - I first saw him & heard his country soul voice on THE VOICE - Yes! Season 16 which was in 2019, right after my fav Season #15 - had so many amazing Voices that I personally enjoyed & the interviews and getting to learn more about the different contestants & how supportive they were of each other - Just fun to see! Great Season (fall season in 2018) that I fully got into from the very beginning & actually started enjoying the Country Soul of Kirk Jay and the wonderful Kennedy Holmes at the young age of 13yrs! What? Why so young? I prefer The Voice having rule for contestants to be at least 18 yrs old and graduated from High School! Just not fair or right to me when more serious and grown young adults are pursuing their goals & trying to enter the Music Industry as a career & earn a living! I could tell Dalton was nervous on stage and in-front of Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson & Blake & was is stupid Adam -so arrogant & ridiculous & messed up & screwed over DeAnldre from prior season! Oh. We in RU-vid Land and fans of The Voice were so upset with Adam and wanted him Gone! Didn't understand how him or Blake were always there - So many better Voices in Country Music than Blake and so many more talented and gifted singers than Adam - good LORD, the contestants were better than those 2 many times over! I love Kelly and Jennifer - those 2 can Sing! And they were so interested in helping and supporting all the contestants! And I did vote for Dalton, he just need more time to adjust to the lights and huge audience both there & tv audience! Dalton got my votes - loved his voice more & thought he did great! Omg he had so much competition from more seasoned and experienced country singers - But Dang Dalton is Passing by many of the winners now!!! Just heard Dalton's hit "Baby I Am" thru Spotify (this past week & I'm Hooked on that song & sharing & posting) - and the voice sounded familiar -Got my Attention, really liked the song 1st time I heard it - saw Dalton's Face & Name & recognized him! So Thrilled for Dalton's Success - he has improved so much and sounds Even Better, and I love his songwriting; his Lyrics are so good! Started reading more about what's been going on with him and heard about him breaking thru & getting signed! And just pulled up what they said was Dalton's first hit song - Giving Up On That - Wow, really great video with Lyrics and Dalton''s Voice is so strong & I believe every word he's singing!! So impressed with how fantastic Dalton Sounds! Wow! Like another Luke Combs type - Way to Go Dalton - You really are good! So happy for all your success - Telling everyone about you & sharing your songs with my friends especially the ones that are more into Country Music! Always stay true to yourself & stay with those that know you & love you instead of these sharks coming your way. Be wise in the company you keep - and allow in your inner circle!
Oh my goodness - I wrote my comment way before I heard Dalton talk about posting on tic tok - I don't watch tic tok and know I've heard bad things about it due to China trying to invade or whatever Nonsense media is trying to convince us - yet I'm older and watch The Voice and tv more than social media! Love RU-vid & Dalton's Voice and personality - and from the Voice knew he was a sweet country boy- I don't think he looks anything like Luke Combs, but I love both these sweet country boys! And I'm not a big Country Music fan yet I enjoy some of the great songs and those who could easily cross over to other stations! Just because they can really sing! I love love songs with good sweet romantic lyrics and definitely Love Christian Music! My radio set to 104.7 The Fish in Atlanta & now in Florida K-Love Christian Radio that is national!
Okay Dalton I did not realize your song Baby I Am (@ 20:30 minutes in this interview - my fav!) was out that long ago - it's new to me as of a week or so - And I liked it the very first time I heard it - it got my attention and I had to stopped to look who was singing and what the name of that song was! I've played it over & over and over again - Beautiful song, wonderful romantic sweet lyrics - and your Voice is perfect with it - I definitely understand why it's a Hit! It's a great song - I've shared it & posted and talked about you & this song to everyone - ha, ha - You are definitely A Country Star -
