The movie,last cab to darwin was filmed here,amongst other locations,its the reason i travelled 2 days just to see this place,its just like it is in the movie.

Go Miriam, the last time I went to the Daily Waters pub was in 97 with my mum and she had 5 Long Island iced tea’s and got so drunk as she hardly drank, but was so hungover the next day, she suffered for the whole way from Daily Waters to Darwin
Really want to visit Mataranka & Bitter springs from Adelaide, how many days would you suggest is a good amount of time? Is there much else to do in the area?
For this trip i'd allow at least 3 days,in about a week,I'm doing my 1st trip to Uluru,I'm in Ayr,Qld,from Ayr it took me 2 days to get to Daly waters pub,1 awesome place.
I’d love to help but we only spent the two nights passing through. We did both springs and Nathan Griggs - no fishing or walks or anything though. Didn’t do much research as it was a stopover for us 😁
