I don't think some people like it but we don't see the point of just saying everything is great when it's not. We give it on face value and will continue to do so. Me and my mum were in Dalyan when you were there. We ate at Alegria and it was the most awful meal of all! I had çökertme and the thin crispy fries were not fresh at all. Like they were old and reheated in the microwave and gone cold again. Totally inedible and the waiter said they were supposed to be like that!!!! 😂 Never again!! 🤢
It wasn't just us then, which is good to know, considering it's so highly rated by people and we had a load of recommendations for this place. It was very disappointing indeed.
anyone staying in that area, it is well worth a drive out to Enver Yalçin Yörük Müzesi near fethiye, i promise THE best turkish village breakfast anywhere, everything is homegrown/made, and is unbelievably cheap. it is also seemingly never ending!
Yeah we loved our meal at Yener's, great staff and great food. Lovely setting next to the river too. Fantastic watching the otter keep swimming around too.

Hi ya, watched a few of your videos now and I’m really enjoying them. Informative yet informal. If I could suggest getting a better mic set up so we can hear you a little better that would be awesome. Small point but keep the prices pop up on screen a little longer but that being said I’m trying to be helpful and hopefully not critical. Keep on keeping on, loving it 😊
Thanks Marc. Yeah we do have a new mic however when we go to restaurants we don't really like going in with a whole set up and making people around us feel uncomfortable, so we do try to do things as discreetly as possibly so we don't bother anyone. Not always easy but are aware the sound ain't always great as we tend to do the restaurant ones on our phones rather than proper cameras and stuff. We do appreciate the feedback though.
Yeah they've definitely got the prime location for sure. Thought it was alright, but we wouldn't be in a rush to head back there. Far superior restaurants in Dalyan.

My worst meal in all the years I've been going to Dalyan was in Yenners before they moved to the river. I'd go back but haven't got round to it yet as it may have been an off night. I've only been to Allegria twice and have to say that both times my food was spot on. A bit more expensive but you're paying extra for the beautiful setting.
Sounds like we've had the complete opposite experiences in pur times then 🤣 We really enjoyed the food in Yeners. Have no doubt Alegria os lovely, again there, may have just been an off night and just unfortunate Jacquis salmon wasn't cooked properly. Still a lovely restaurant though.
Hi there, great video! my compliments... However, I have a feedback with all my good intention and that is about the intro Music/Song. We (Turks - not the immigrants) are not Arab at all, but the intro music may let people to think the opposite, especially those who has not visited the "Republic of Turkiye" yet. I have no any issue with any nationality nor the religion... full of respect to all and I just wanted to clarify the difference, that's it. Thanks.
Thanks for clarity. However, when we chose the music and I searched for Turkey, this is what was presented to us. The song is actually called "Turkish" believe it or not. This is the reason we put it on as the I tro to this series. Apologies if it has caused you any offence, none intended

Thank you again Jackie, we aren't so young ourselves these days 😅 No we don't recall seeing the hotel riverside. However, there were a lot of mosquitos, but you have to remember you are next to water, which is where they breed.
