@@ianxtreem thank you! I am sure you will! I do use a modified Carolina rig. My weight is fixed and doesn’t move. 2.5oz is about all I use for weights. I have done 3oz when the dam is pushing 100k per sec or close to it. It kinda depends how the weight is staying in the bottom in the current. I want it to hit often but not be to fixed to the bottom to where I get hung as often.

Penn battle 2 5000 reel and Penn 8’ prevail rod. Doesn’t have to be that heavy but it helps me greatly get my bait out very far and pull from the hang up’s below a dam. I have several Walmart specials for other locations!
