As Bayley's Damage CTRL continues their dominance on RAW and SmackDown, many fans are expressing their disappointment with the booking of the once exciting team. Is Damage CTRL already flopping?
Former SmackDown Women's Champion Liv Morgan gets little crazy beating the living hell out of Sonya Deville. And Sonya Deville makes a surprise appearance on NXT to take control of Toxic Attraction during Mandy Rose's absence. Super rookie Roxanne Perez steals the show on SmackDown. Bayley changed the game & Dakota has been wrestling for years & never got her chance to shine. I would argue otherwise. I just think that if would make sense if all 3 held gold to solidify them as a group. That hasn’t been done on the main roster before, at least for the women.

@@fryfryleo your right but Bianca Belair has been champion for 6 months now and if you include her previous four month reign, that's almost a year of her as champion and almost two years of her in the main event. In that same time Rhea Ripley went from Raw Women's Champion to WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Nikki Ash to number one contender for the women's tag titles with Liv Morgan to Judgement Day and that's without switching brands.

The 6 women tag in SD was enjoyable. i really enjoyed it. i think the roll up finish was smart because it shows how much of a threat Perez is. I can see her dethroning Mandy. She did so well this week. Can’t wait to see how the pick your poison matches play out. Nia v Jade is the perfect feud. She’s the most believable wrestler who can dethrone Jade. I’m enjoying wrestling right now😊

i wouldn't say it's flopping but there are other ways to make them look strong besides the same pattern of brawls. also there's no clear reason as to why they're together like yes they want control but there needs to be a backstory & the inconsistent booking hasn't helped either like dakota losing to a roll-up from distraction, iyo losing to bianca a few weeks ago, all members of damage ctrl getting taken out by bianca when she's been needing alexa & asuka by her side to help take them out etc.

FACTS and don’t get me started on how they got the nexus summerslam 2010 treatment at extreme rules it was literally 3 on 1 and bianca still beat them made them look weak then they have bayley lose to candice on raw a day later and all of a sudden their doing bianca vs bayley again for the raw women’s championship. But how am I supposed to take bayley seriously as a threat if she lose twice.

I agree with the Sonya/Mandy ownership of Toxic Attraction. With Mandy it feels like "Mandy and Toxic Attraction" but with Sonya, it feels like an equal playing field. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a Edge Judgement Day situation where the leader is kicked out and that's how they transition Mandy back to the main roster. Or have Mandy willingly give the reigns to Sonya since they're officially besties again storyline wise. But if this is a one-off thing until Mandy returns then that's cool too

Damage CTRL is not a flop, Iyo and Dakota are from NXt so for me, in the power management of my whole superstars, they must be a little below the superstars already there for a long time. In a 3 hour show you only have one women's match, for months now they have been using same women forgetting the other talents collecting left overs in catering, and finally the men is getting good booking while the women is getting the same old same old.

Bianca needs to lose the title to Bayley VERY SOON so it can give the division & the group a bolt of energy. Everything is starting to get stale and that goes back to having inconsistent booking. Indi has never had a wow factor about her so it is what it is. As for TA, it would add another layer/run for them if they turn on Mandy during a title match and have Sonya be the one to take the belt off her.

Its flopping because of the WWE creative and management. Back in NXT, Io Sky was so vicious and able to get so many offence but now the main roster kinda tone down her character, just like they did to Asuka. And they have Kai and Sky as champion but never really did anything for the titles, just like the men. Main roster keep focusing on single titles feud and forget about the tags. This is why Sasha and Naomi left.

I genuinely love your content, but starting the Recap with last night's Raw and finishing with last week's Smackdown baffles me. You present the AEW stories in chronological order, why not WWE? Especially with how much overlap there is re: Damage CTRL and the ongoing NXT crossovers, it just presents the division in a way that obfuscates the stories. If you want to commit to tuesday uploads, shouldn't it make more sense to just put Raw content at the end of the video, after Smackdown?

It is not a flop because that would insinuate IMO that there is no way to correct the problem...which is wrong and hell if you pay attention especially last week you can see adjustments being made both Dakota and IYO are more inline with their NXT personalities now and the group is dressing similar which makes the trio feel like a trio. But the big thing is WWE seemingly is never letting them get past Bianca...and THIS is what is and has been killing them...Bianca took them out all by herself 3 on 1 .multiple times....either they finally overcome Bianca and move on from her or they wont and just blow the entire thing up...which if Dakota and IYO lose the tag titles on friday I completely expect is the plan again IF they lose the tag titles on friday.

Unfortunately there's no competition for the tag titles, and until the title remains on Bianca they cant be booked stronger. It's not a flop, they are on TV every week on every brand. Just need credible opponents for the tag titles and the Raw belt to be put on Bayley. Dont understand why they booked Bianca winner at Extreme Rules, still puzzled about that choice.

I don't think flop is the right word. I think despite the excitement for their return and debut, there is nothing inherently interesting behind this stable. They have no real backstory, act like any other heel stable and have nothing really unique, the most unique thing is Dakota's hairstyle. Bianca either had to lose the title soon to Bayley or they need to stop their feud. The tag feud between Damage CTRL and Raquel and Shotzi is super random because Raquel and Shotzi barely interacted before that and Aliyah, who *should* be in the storyline, is still absent. I think people love Bayley, Io and Dakota but not necessarily together. I'd prefer them as single stars.

How can you put down Damage CTRL while liking the awful Nyla Rose steals the title storyline, which is dumb? Why would security try to stop the rightful champion from getting her title back? That's incredibly stupid. Only thing I hate about Damage CTRL is their awful theme song, which doesn't fit them, at all. They're not flopping at all. I do agree on seeing Bianca in tag matches is too much. She should be defending her title against someone in singles matches.

@@RingTheBelle it's a dumb storyline. I'll give you that the tag match on Dynamite was nice, though, but I would much rather watch Damage CTRL than anything going on with the TBS title.

The company doesn't have security for its rightful champion, but Vickie can just hire outside people (one of which looks suspiciously like a cop who arrested Ronda) to steal a title from a champion? I can totally buy someone stealing a belt, because that's happened hundreds of times in wrestling, but once they have security that is not trying to get the title back, it breaks my suspension of disbelief, completely.

The lack of story in the women's division fot WWE is depressing. The treatment to Bianca isn't the best either. She has the current Champ. Why is she in tag matches. I guess it's bc there's no one really worthy of a storyline. Bayley just isn't it. There's no Tamina, Dudrop, or Nikki and yes I enjoy all three. I'm tried of seeing Candice face DC every week and that is lacking direction. It's just a mess
