If she hit him with her car to cause the amount of damage to his that has been reported, why have they not mentioned that any amount of blood, tissue, etc was found on her car? Also he had an injury to the back of his head, if she left him to die in the snow, why aren't they saying blood was found where his body was found? If he died where she left him, where is the blood?

That judge is dreadful! Not allowing an expert opionion on cause? Re trial on judge alone!

More exculpatory than “damage isn’t consistent” is the fact that that the tail light wasn’t shattered until after John was found dead. It was still only cracked but not destroyed as of Jan 29 afternoon per Dighton Police Sergeant Barros. It was shattered after the Lexus was towed back to Canton from Dighton.

I would say the state has failed to prove guilt.

Its immpossible to defend Karen with those sustained objections. This is why the witness was invited....to testify if John was striked by Karen SUV. He's the first witness I've seen who seemed to know what he was talking about and wasn't trying to avoid questions. I wish that the judge and lawyers had let him talk when he wanted to explain things. He creates real doubt about the prosecution's view of the case.

I have that same SUV and have broke it before and it broke into 3 pieces not 32. It was a pole in a parking lot and it was cemented into the ground. “If” you hit someone I don’t think it would break at all.

Was there any sticky liquid on the vehicle? Was the drink supposedly half full or was he just walking around with an empty glass? I assume he’s drinking some alcohol or some sort of mixed drink, otherwise he would just leave the glass behind… So wouldn’t that’s mean there would be sticky drink residue all over the back of the suv from impact?

The glass base they found, didn't have to be thrown, John was holding his glass when he elbow, or hit the tail light, the glass broke when it hit the bumper, the base got stuck on top the bumper, back of his right hand smacked the part of the tail light on the tailgate leaving bruising.

When will the real culprits be charged?

Has anyone ever argued as to why or how he could’ve even been hit from behind? If he was seating in the passenger seat, exiting his girlfriends car, aiming at going inside the house, it would’ve made much more sense to walk around the vehicle from the front. If you take into consideration that apparently there was at least one car already parked in the driveway, and Karen was just dropping John off, she was either stopping her car behind the car that was already parked, or driving into the driveway just enough to drop him off. No one’s going to drive all the way to the garage door to then back up 30 seconds later. That would’ve been the only way I could see John walking around the car from behind but then again, if there were already an X number of cars in the driveway, I don’t think that happened.

I still wonder about the plow guy hitting a basketball accidentally.

OK, so if Karen isn't guilty for John's death, then who is?

I think John and Karen got into a fight when they got to the house cuz she didn’t want to stay and drink. So John got out and was mad and went up to the house. Someone walking out from the house tried to calm him and John was drunk and took a swing or two at the person. That person punched John in the face a few times and John fell and hit his head perhaps once then. He then got up and wandered off and ended up tripping on the curb and losing his shoe and dropping the glass and then fell again laying on the lawn and succumbing to the cold and his head injury. At some point the Alberts let the dog out to pee and it found John in the lawn and the Albert’s found him as well and realized he was dead. While trying to wake him the dog got riled up and bit John’s arm a couple times. The Alberts and McCabes panicked cuz they were all drunk and left him there and made up a story of an accident.

Maybe John saw her backing up and he used his elbow to smash the tail light and then she stopped for a second and reversed again for about 6 feet, knocking John down wedgeing his head into the ground. Talking about head pressure! eye popping.

I was at a car wash and got out to get change (yes back in the day) and so much going on and forgot to put car in drive. The car creeped up On me and hit my tailbone and I was blank and purple from a light bump. I don’t think she could have hit him but don’t understand why someone would want to kill him,

Simply rotate John O Keefe’s “injured arm” picture 180* Looks like John raised his arm over his head to protect himself. He did not get killed by a car. He was alive when he raised his arm to protect himself from the dog. He could have fallen back and stuck his head in the fall.

Karen was the only person related to this situation that was not a cop, cop wife, cop kid or kid friend. Therefore get your story straight and frame the outsider!

I am a big supporter of the blue, but in this case they screwed up and Karen Read is innocent. I hope they investigate these police officers and get to the bottom of what really happened.

This witness (doctor) for the defense is great. Hard as the prosecution tries, they can't trip him up. Very obvious he's leagues above the prosecutor in intelligence.

After observering Karen's CAR, I felt she was innocent. If she hit John and shattered her tail light that supposed to have caused his death, how would her tail light be intact when she was driving away from John's home .

I have only been able to watch here and there, but caught that Dr.'s testimony today. WOW! Based on what I heard from him, NOT GUILTY!!! He was an awesome witness for the Defense. Game over!

Compared to the testimonies from the alcoholic and semi literate gang of the Albert family and friends, this was an excellent example of honesty and professional integrity.
