The merch is still good. I work in a grocery store. Anything dented dinged or ripped we have to pull it from the shelf. I agree, who cares about the box. If it's not actually opened

The grocery store i work at marks damage boxes or cans down on to a reduced price. Usually everything is perfectly fine just the packaging is damaged.

I buy damaged boxes of goods all the time at salvage/outlet stores. Just look at it CAREFULLY. (No bulging cans, etc.) I'm curious if any of the contents are actually damaged. I get cereal boxes with the was paper inside completely intact, for instance.

You get more money if you don’t open the sealed bags like the laptop case it was in a sealed bag so it’s classed as factory sealed you opened it so can only be sold new not used..

Don't count that bed thing as a loss you can sell the control box as a replacement. I once bought a controller for a hospital bed at the bins for a dollar and sold it as a replacement for $95. Pickle ball stuff is very popular and sells really well.

You should look into donating the feminine products to women’s shelters. Most of the time DV aren’t even thinking about that stuff on the run. I love your videos and thanks for taking the gamble. Everything seemed good and still useful.

Heck Melissa I would buy all the medical tape. My husband is battling a bad mrsa infection in his leg. We do a lot of wound care and good tape is expensive.

@@Daisy-sc6tm I had a feeding tube for 18+ month isn't it horrible how hard it is if you have little to no insurance to find affordable medical tape? Amazon is a great place to look if you haven't tried yet, and so is Walmart online , not sure if you're aware ( I was not) but they are becoming like an Amazon, more & more. I had to buy most of my tape the whole time because the tape I was provided from insurance was sub par , horrible , I use it to wrap Christmas gift every year ❤️. Any way I could talk you ear off , I hope your husband gets better soon 😘.

Hi Melissa. The box that didn't have the mattress that blow's up and stays on for the elderly men and women who are bed bound. It is a pressure point machine for the body. It keeps bed bound patient from pain. But what a bummer that it wasn't in the box 😢. But all the other stuff looked good. I hope you can sell the lot. I kinda liked these. I mean if the prices were good, I'd definitely buy a lot of the stuff. Looking at the manifest you are able to price pretty good. I don't care about busted up boxes. Ask for a discount at the store you're in cuz the box is damaged. It's like a 50/50 thing if they'll do it or not.

You need an extension cord next to you with a ubs block plugged in too, to just test items, just to see if they turn on

People open packages and take stuff... then the stores can't sell the item... or the packaging is damaged, and the store can't sell the item. Often the item is fine, but if someone paid full retail, and the charger (for instance) is missing, they would be upset. So, returns, or removal from the shelf if the tampering is evident. 😁👍

Great video as usual! I've been away from watching RU-vid, nice to be back and watching your videos. Lots of usable items in your boxes, maybe not big money makers, but sellable at the flea market. You might could still sell the motor for the pressure pad as they often quit working and the pads people have are still fine. I'm betting someone can use it. I've thought about buying a box from 888Lots, but haven't. Glad to see what's in those boxes!

That was fun! I suggest you sell try to the pump itself for the alternating pressure pad. I checked to see that you can buy just a replacement pad for $34. Perhaps someone may need a replacement pump and you could make a little on it! Good luck!

The pressure pad is great. You can still sell it if someone has the pad but the machine broke. We used a similar one when my husband was dying. It inflates different areas. Great for anyone who is bed ridden . Hope I made sense

Ok I worked retail for 30yrs if the box is damaged you cannot resell the item, most of the time it's just a ripped box, but you CANNOT resell returned underwear it's law, but in my day at Kmart we used to tape the boxes up, but it's no longer the norm, and people will buy something or just take what they need and return for full price, love your short hair❤🙏

@@TheCheapChick and in grocery stores they will put them on a clearance rack, but unless you mark it down to almost nothing and with COVID they don't want damaged items and for retail items it cost to much to return to the manufacturer then use them for things like you do or throw them in the trash and then you have dumpster divers, I would be interested in getting some things you don't use

They have those pressure pads in hospital, it might be worth trying to sell the leads for it in case someone has damaged their pad? Maybe keep the boxes to advertise the items so people know they’re legit n sling when selling? Just a suggestion, I know I’d prefer it? I think you’ll make some profit Lovely. Nice video👏👍🏻❣️

@@TheCheapChickI’m a retired nurse and through the years I’ve collected so much medical tape and dressings and alcohol pads so I cracked up with all surgical tape. The bed pad that you only got the motor is to prevent bed sores. I really liked this haul of just damaged boxes. 🤩

Still sell the electrics regardless of the medical pad being absent, those tend to need replaced more. It is like that with most med devices as cords get damaged easy when people are poorly.
