Damascus Hadra dhikr with beautiful recitation of Qasaid 

I first experienced the hadra when I took upon the Darqawi tariqa in February 2010 and alhamdulillah it really has to be experienced to be comprehended. InshaAllah those who criticize it only do so because they fail to understand. May Allah remove the veils from their hearts and expand their vision.

My heart is so moved watching this. Every Friday after Juma'a I'd make it to this very spot for this very same dhikr back in 99/2000. Subhaan Allah how I miss this. Safeguard the beautiful people of Syria Ameeeen ❤️🙏🏽

If i was to explain to someone who has never tasted honey how sweet it is, and how nice it tastes, that person would never really know its actual real taste and how sweet it really is until he tastes it him self, similarly no matter how much we try to tell others the ecstasy and majestic-al presence felt during Hadrah he will never really know what it feels like until he himself attends a gathering with an open heart ..

When Abu Bakr r.a. came into the presence of our Masterﷺ and heard the good news from the lips of beloved Prophetﷺ, he got up, *thanked Allah, said, “Indeed I am pleased with my Lord!” and in his joy whirled around three times.* *quoted from Ibn al-Husayn al-Sulami‘s Kitab al-Futuwwah (The Way of Sufi Chivalry). * Ibn al-Husayan is a highly respected sufi saint and scholar of the 10th century and the book is founded on very strong isnad (chain of authorities).

I have experienced both types of thikr (hadra and seated) in a women only gatherings and the feeling of elation is really something wonderful

for those who think that this is bidah, hold your horses. As many scholars have said, bidah is in aqeedah. Our beloved watched those from Africa dance and didn't say anything, another hadith about Zaid and Ali dancing with one leg out if joy. Thus, the result in dancing to to joy is permissible. No one said you must do it but it's allowed. we need unity, not hated for each other like the khawarij of the past did (today wahabi and some salafi). out beloved pbh was a mercy to the world!!! so let's be mercy to each other.

There are 101 things we do in our life that RasoolAllah salalahoalayhewasalam nor his companions did not do such as Using internet for islamic purposes e.g. listen to Quran, islamic lectures, watching live makkah madina etc. The real question which a person with intellect should ask is that is this Hadrah zikr permissible in Shari'ah and the teachings of RasoolAllah salalahoalyhewasalam because that is where we find out what is allowed or not allowed. Alhamdulillah Hadrah is permissible!

How come whenever i come on a video of Zikr of Allah azzwajal (may it be in any form) or a video of a Mehfil where people are reciting Durood/Salawat on RasoolAllah salalahoalayhewasalam there is always a group that Burns and tells people to stop doing these practices. It reminds me of how they say Recite the Quran or Adhaan and the Shaitaan will burn and tell you to stop, likewise these people have a common thing with Shaitaan as they tell people to stop whenever Allahs name is mentioned.

Andrei, It should be open to view and participation from visitors should be allowed as these are usually open gatherings. The women have their own separate gathering in which they perform the same worship in the same style. They are not considered inferior, in fact, in Islam women are ranked higher than men.

andrei, one contributor already stated there are separate designated places within the premises for women for them be and feel free to express their emotional experiences just the men do - as they feel their own world. you seem to have your own challenges empathising with how Muslims carry out their religious acitivites - thus i envisage you'll be going to such gahering with pre-assupmptions. sort out your attitude before going to such religious gatherings and you'll benefit from them

الحمد لله رب العالمين ، المسلم لا يحتاج الى مثقال ذرة من الصوفية او التصوف طوال حياته في الاسلام ، ولم يأمر الله عز وجل بالصوفية او التصوف ولم يطلبها رسوله صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم من احد ، فمن اين جاءت ، بسيطة جدا ، انظر الى النصارى اليوم وتخبطهم في دينهم مع انها نزلت عليهم مائدة من السماء واكلوا منها ، واحيا لهم عيسى عليه السلام من الاموات وخلق لهم من الطير وابراء الاكمه والابرص كله بإذن الله تعالى ، ثم انظر الى حالهم اليوم ، وهذا يدلك على ان الشيطان للانسان عدو مبين وعمله متواصل في القيام بمهمة الاغواء والاضلال ، والا كيف يصلون الى هذه الحالة وقد رأوا تلك الاحوال ، نسأل الله العافية والسلامة ، اعرف عدوك جيدا ايها الانسان. نشر الصوفية والتصوف حول العالم سيفشل بإذن الله لان القاعدة المبني عليها باطلة ، وانظر الى احوال الصوفية اليوم شيء محزن للغاية طرب ومعازف وهمهم وشوشرة وتوهم اشواق وشوق واحوال لا يكاد يقبلها عقل سليم ، وعلى من يعمل لنشر الصوفية والتصوف ان يعد الحجج القوية جدا من الان ليوم القيامة ، ويعرضها جيدا على كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم ، ويضع بين عينيه ان الله قال وقوله الحق المبين:(ادعوني استجب لكم) وقال سبحانه وتعالى عن اقوى نظام تتبع ومراقبة في هذا الكون :( ام يحسبون انا لا نسمع سرهم ونجواهم بلى ورسلنا لديهم يكتبون) ، فهذا اقوى نظام تتبع ومراقبة في هذا الكون وهو صنع الله الذي اتقن كل شيء. ولا ينسى احد قول الله العظيم :(اقرأ كتابك كفى بنفسك اليوم عليك حسيبا) ، فياخيبة وياحسرة من شهد على نفسه يوم القيامة بما لا يسره.

ما هاذه البدع حسبي الله ونعمة الوكيل والله انتم اهل البدع الذين تشوهون صورة المسلمين

It's simple......the question you should ask is...did we see Abu bakr, umar doing these acts? They loved the prophet more than we could ever do....so lets not try and find a way to accept this....there's nothing wrong with people chanting zikr....but they are boundariies
