Adagietto by Jean-Michel Damase (1928 - 2013) originally written for solo harp

I realize this isn't video game music or something that a lot of people are drawn to... but sometimes as an artist you just have to create music that moves your soul regardless of who listens 😂 When I started harp lessons again in 2021 I stumbled across a recording of this piece and was instantly drawn to how beautiful it is. The lush chords remind me of the single week in late spring where the flowers bloom here in Minnesota.

I love your other renditions and compositions, but this piece is lovely, and I personally enjoy these sorts of pieces a little more on a beautiful day. Sublime. The arpeggios drive the Adagietto tempo onward while the strings and flute sustain the melody and chords. Just beautiful.

This piece feels like something out of Final Fantasy, or perhaps Spirit Farer. Any kind of heart touching game honestly. I've never heard this piece before but your title is absolutely correct. When I listen and close my eyes I am a crow soaring across vast valleys in the sunrise, my caw can be seen in the mist. I am a fox padding through the dew covered blades of grass, I am that tiny stream flowing beneath the icy surface. What an astounding composition.

when i was younger i wanted to learn how to play the harp, because i thought piano was 'boring/'everyone plays piano' ' 😅 but the nearest teacher was a 2hr drive away so i started learning violin instead. i still adore watching harp players, there's such an angelic serenity to it..

Love this! As a harpist myself, I love to see you perform this awesome tune with your own instruments added as well.
