Plus, with Mase, talk about that relationship, some good stories bad stories… Mase said that you wanted to fight him always but Cam’ron step in. I love how Dame breaks things down and drops information and keeps it truthful. At the same time I chuckle at how he says he doesn't want to be old, grumpy and gray, even though that's somewhat how he looks. And then he talks about not using the past and thinking about the future but he still talking about two for five crack vials which is so 90s. How he's now promoting an L word TV type series, but he runs around saying "pause" all day and all night.🙄🤣

Lyor has been in Hip Hop way before Dame. He was the road manager for Run DMC. He helped them get the deal with ADIDAS. He created Def Jam with Russell Simmons. He is the person that gave Dame/Jay/Biggs the partnership deal that helped launch their success. Dame is mad because Lyor and Jay did business together without him.

That letter that Ray wrote reminds me of the opening scene in Jerry McGuire when he spoken on more personal attention to the athletes and those agents did not like it. I'm surprised he didn't think of that movie when he penned that letter. WOW ! Remember when they ostracized Jerry McGuire he went independent with one client, started his own agency, got Rod Tidwell a max deal and all of his peers, athletes and former athletes gave it up to him. They were shaking his hand congratulating him on the position he took. There are definitely parallels with Ray's story and that movie.

58:22 So Dame got robbed by a Jwsh accountant, James Brown and Fat Joe both trusted their accountants to pay their taxes and ended up stealing the money and they didn't get fined or made to do time. As the law puts the onus on the individual to get tax affairs paid and straight, the same law states you need accountants to manage finances to keep you legal and also for auditing accounts. Your accounts should be prepared by a qualified accountant and presented in accordance to financial regulations.
