Qxygen level below 90 is scary, specially for kids it should be higher than that. Damho is very young to have this kind of health condition. I went through the same thing as him and received the same procedures at his age. Though I’m 21 now and don’t remember much I do remember how much it improved my sleep and health. I would get sick very often and my tonsils would swell and become infected frequently, I also would stop breathing while asleep and had fluid in my ears bcs of my tonsils and adenoids. I think my happiest memory during that time was getting to have an entire bucket of ice cream and popsicles to myself to eat while my sibling ate regular food lol I thought I was special😂.

So conforting to know he is better now. ❤

I thought he was getting major surgery cause I didnt know the english terms but after googling it its something that sooo many young kids get done in my country.. It's good that they got it done cause the fact that he stopped breathing 20x in 1 hour is way scarier than the surgery

I experienced the same problem when I was at Damho's age. In my case, I kept hearing boom boom sound like someone hitting drum inside my ear. Whenever I caught a cold, my snot didn't come out. Sleeping was also a big concern since it causes us to breath through mouth. Months later, I was diagnosed with sinusitis plus big adenoid inside nasal and surgery was the only way. Thank god, now I'm sinusitis free but can't escape with snore while sleeping after the surgery until now. That's fine for me, though. So, Damho, I totally feel you. I'm sure you'll be in a very good state of health in the future as mine

My son just had his tonsils adenoids fluid drained from his ears and ear tubes put in back in October of 2023 and since then it has been a game changer. He now sleeps through the night, no longer stops breathing, no more snoring and is now eating more foods, especially because he's autistic. This was very challenging for him to learn more and because of the surgeries that he receives and the ear tubes are put in, he's actually responding more with listening to his teachers and therapists to us and now he's eating more foods that he would never eat before. By the time he had his surgery, his tonsils and adenoids were five times its size which is really crazy. Large tonsils and adenoids actually run on my side and my husband's side of the family so it was inherited.

This is realllly good information to other people,,hope he become healthy n grow up wellll😊 His wife reallly cool n straightforward...i love this couple😊😊😊 Also remember emergency couple,,,Dr, fighting!!!!😅

I feel the parents’ worry and being frightened it always is there when it comes to your children. My son at 1 years old had to I get tubes. My nerves were through the roof. ❤❤❤❤glad he is okay

I'm glad that he got the surgery. I was born with enlarged adenoid so now I'm using cpap since 19years old. I didn't even know I had it since last month. This explains why I'm always sick since childhood....

It's scary to think of a young child going through something like that, but it really will make his life so much better to be able to breath freely. Also the continued reduced oxygen can negatively affect his brains development, thankfully he's still really young and his body can adapt and heal now that it's been fixed.

I don’t know how it is there, but here in the states this type surgery is not that big of a deal. Fairly common. He will do so much better now I’m sure. Happy it’s over for all of you. None of us want our kids sick.

my adenoids and tonsils were removed when i was around five years old at the suggestion of the doctor. i didn't feel anything. the only thing i remember was i was given ice cream when i woke up in the hospital room. ever since my adenoids and tonsils were removed i never had any problems at all.

It's a stressful situation for the parents as i an adult already went through with all this process except for surgery...it's tiring and physically exhausted when i need to go for appointment with ENT....and we don't know how Damho feel as he can't tell what he feel inside....thank God that his parents make a good decision to get surgery before it getting worst....speed recovey Damho and hope that you will grow healhty and happy....

Our son had this surgery at a very young age, he also then unfortunately needed his ears ( grommets ) done another 8/9 times which is very unusual he also had to get his tonsils out. He has some hearing loss on one side permanently and has some tinnitus type problems long term. He’s 20 now. ❤

I feel bad for Damho but the surgeries will improve his health real quick and are effective. I did go through those surgeries because of the tonsil and otitis media and affects my sleep and breathing too. Did 6 surgeries putting in and taking out the ear tube constantly over my childhood years till i no longer needed surgeries.

My son went through the same thing when he was 5 years old. After the surgery, now he is very healthy.

I'm sorry, but I had to cringe so hard at minute 3:25 when the dad was saying everything has a purpose in our body. No, not everything in our body has a purpose anymore. Everyone removes their wisdom teeth, the appendix has no clear function anymore, the tailbone etc. Is it male ego to want to be right and prove a women wrong or what? Idk why but him acting like that really got me triggered. Removing tonsils isn't anything special either, a lot of people do it and it is best to do it when you are younger because it's going to be painful when you're an adult. But then again, it is just a child so it must be really scary for the parents.

I had to do nose surgery too when I was only 10 because my nose is soo badly blocked due to my sinus😢😢but I believe even though my situation isnt as bad as his, but I understood how much Damho needs to go through 😢😢 poor boy

I have the same kind of problem as damho..it is hard to breathe when my nose got clogged and i was annoyed by it, especially when eating and doing some heavy activity, i hate to make chop² sound while eating because it is really annoying but i have no choice cause i need to breath and eat using my mouth at the same time...i went through one surgery to unclogged my nose but it only for temperory of time....luckily as i grew up my nose getting better but it will still clogged every morning and when its cold....for those who had the same problem, the best thing you can do is drink hot water every morning and before you sleep...hot herb tea is better😊

My son had the same condition before he even turned1 y , he got the surgery when he turned 2 (because of corona minor surgeries were called off ) he got better after the surgery but the water was stuck again behind his ear so he had a 2nd surgery with tubes in his ears .. it's really tiring for the kid and parents.

Lots of kids have their adenoids removed. Also if his ears are congested they may put in grommets. It’s always worrying when it’s your child but it’s fairly routine.

I had the same problem when i was a kid. My adenoids would stop me from breathing in my sleep and i had to have surgery to get it removed. Never stopped breathing in my sleep afterwards so it really does make a major improvement!

It will be good for his long term health ❤️ oxygen is food for the brain and he needs all of it he can get at his age! It’s for a bright future :) my younger brother had to get his tonsils removed in the 2nd grade because he kept getting pneumonia from them not working and he couldn’t sleep and was also not getting enough oxygen… he’s now in 9th grade and he’s a strong baseball and basketball player :) recover well damho ❤️

Anytime the child breaths I feel compression in my chest like I'm the one having difficulty breathing When I was little my mom told me that I always breathe with my mouth Because my mouth was always open😅then Anytime close my mouth then I sometimes struggle to Breathe But now I still do it but not all the time Only when I have catarrh

Other side effect sleeping with mouth open is, lower half your half ur face become longer and dosen't get proportion to ur face. lol

Do doctors in korea not know about putting tubes in the ears for children who keep getting fluid in the ears? I'm very curious. Why can't they give him a cpap machine to help give him more oxygen while he sleeps until he have his surgeries.
