Damien Lillard is a awesome guy. He lives near me and a couple of times we have spotted him at Walmart. He would also show up at our high school football games. He is a super nice guy, when we saw him Walmart he was talking with my dad. When I told him I wanted play in the NBA once I’m done with high school and collage. He told me “Take care of your dad. Your dad is amazing and has definitely taught you many amazing things. I can only wish you the best bro.” He is a super cool guy. I have nothing but respect and love for this man. Love you dame and you are my role model and the person I strive to be like every day. Go RIP CITY!!!!!!

You know what's severely underrated about this man? his fucking handles. he can create basically any shot he wants and he doesn't even need to be flashy about it like Kyrie

Started off shooting on a hole in a tree in Oakland, and graduated to milk crates when they cut it down. He just average 30 ppg for the first time this year and had the best efficiency of his career, meaning Dame is still getting better.

Dame vs Russ, 2019.. reminded me so much, of Jordan vs Drexler, 1992. When these series ended.. it was no question, who were the better players of the two. Jordan showed their was a huge gap, between he and a fellow H.O.F. shooting guard contemporary, in Clyde Drexler.. and the same statement was made between Dame, and his fellow future first ballot H.O.F point guard contemporary Russell Westbrook. Dame -- as well as MJ -- were in a different league, from Clyde and Russ. Which is saying something, considering how great, those two are as well. This brotha just has infinite range, while being so fundamentally sound, and has ice water in his veins. While still carrying *Da' O',* on his back. Portland is about one piece away, from being a serious title contender. With this dude, as their lead dog.

Honestly, he is the most underrated point guard. In my opinion, he is the #1 point guard.

Much like Curry and Draymond, Lillard and Nurkic have this symbiosis in the halfcourt that unlocks so much action. Here, Nurkic has the ability to thread a pristine pass just outside of Klay where Dame can cut to the basket and finish. Lillard's ability to cut and move off-ball has made Nurkic a phenomenal player and continues to prove why Lillard is better than Westbrook and Kyrie- he unlocks so much for an offense and makes everyone around him better (while being a better leader, I might add).
