in my humble opinion Damian has a once in a generation voice. always a joy to listen to. you're in good company with Bing , Perry, Gordon Lightfoot, and Brian wilson

I love that deep base/ alto voice of yours. I have heard Leonard Cohen, KD Lang, Celtic Thunder and now your version. Your voice is a deep voice like Mr Cohens. It is this depth that adds a beautiful timbre to the song. Love it.

I love his voice so much, and I have for years. I learned about him through Celtic Thunder, and I saw him in Riverside last night. It was very full of meaning, and it was powerful.

Hearing this from Damien when my mom played it for me, now I heard Ryan, Keith and Neil from CT, sing their version collectively, but when Damien signs this version, it grabbed my full attention from the first note. Mr McGinty sings with such deep passion and Grace, that this version is one of my new favorite

It's not often that someone transposes this song down from it's original key... it's a nice change. Leonard Cohen would probably love this - this is the tone and style that this song is actually supposed to encompass.
