As someone who's also skeptical about possibly being on the spectrum (after considerations with professionals and friends ofc),,,,, I thoroughly enjoyed this video! As OP observed, this is definitely a nod to religious trauma that both Tommy and Damien experienced growing up in the southern US, with an ironic nod to the fact that Damien dyes his hair and has tattoos. 2. Nah all hope for that is lost. Tbh I often even feel like there is something off on how they even talk about him (in the rare occasions they do mention him). They often mock him and his content of "I spent a day with" a lot which could be seen as innocent banter but at the same time they're never really talking anymore about him in a positive way. I feel like Anthony might still be on a wrong foot with some of the people/cast at smosh, otherwise he would have made some guest appearances FOR SURE by now, or at the very least they would promote eachother's content.

Shane did EVERYTHING, Rachel SLAYED, tommy was at his Peak, Spencer did a Grammy worth set, Amanda showed everyone why she’s SNL (when SNL is good and makes their female comedians superstars) materiall, and even Olivia was funny. Damien is the gem of this channel and it warms my heart that he is loved this much by everyone else.
