Finally, a cover with a low and poignant voice, like Damien's rice! Damien doesn't care if a song sounds "pretty;" he even shouts sometimes, but it is actually that passion and that imperfection what makes his songs PERFECT. All the other covers I've heard try too hard to make the song sound "pretty," but not this guy, he actually GETS it! GREAT JOB!
Jose Olivares I totally agree with you on that... I love Damien Rice because of the raw emotion that comes out in his music... I get so caught up in it all and lose myself somewhere..... Any musician that triggers my emotions is doing a good job in my opinion...
I was in full lockdown, while outside the world was fighting against an almost unknown and invisible enemy, we closed ourselves at home, I decide to watch Lost for the first time, in one episode I listen to this song and I immediately go to look for it. I am ecstatic when I listen to this version, so much so that I prefer it to the original by Damien Rice. It accompanied me for a long time, I listened to it all the time, I have to be honest, it gave me so much strength in a very dark period. Today I listen to it again and I realize that fortunately several things have changed, but the warmth and sense of nostalgia that this performance gives you remains the same. Thanks for the video, you have been more helpful than you imagine
At the end of the song when you were stopping the recording i could tell how much the song had absolutely swallowed you whole like you had forgotten millions of people are watching you for years to come 💕
We might kiss when we are alone Nobody's watching We might take it home We might make out when nobody's there It's not that we're scared It's just that it's delicate So why do you fill my sorrows With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've known? And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to ya? Why do you sing with me at all? We might live like never before When there's nothing to give Well how can we ask for more? We might make love In some sacred place The look on your face is delicate So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place that you've known? And…
Music is the soul core of both my daughter and I's lives, we usually do not care for covers or live versions, but you sir, have floored us with both!! You are the first person I have subscribed to that is not a band I was already a huge fan of. Your version of this song is by far the best I've ever heard! I agree you are Very attractive, however the person who said it wasn't to be screamed, doesn't seem to get the emotion and passion that was coming through, and probably my favorite part.
Here if you need the lyric: We might kiss when we are alone Nobody's watching We might take it home We might make out when nobody's there It's not that we're scared It's just that it's delicate So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all? We might live like never before When there's nothing to give Well how can we ask for more We might make love in some sacred place The look on your face is delicate So why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all? why do you fill my sorrow With the words you've borrowed From the only place you've know And why do you sing Hallelujah If it means nothing to you Why do you sing with me at all?
Dude, you are amazing! you take the passion of the actual song and use it. Other covers I see, they're are just singing a song but I can tell you feel it. Great Job!
Shubham Kshatriya he’s very busy! & he says he doesn’t do social media anymore. Sorry! But I do love when he sings I’ve seen him in person sing numerous times & I love his passion and ora ! It brings me to tears !
@@coreyward9252 Oh, this really made my day :-) I can't stop listen to this and the "falling slowly" cover since a while. I love it and looking forward to new things
