always loved Damien anyways, but now, well, even more. One was my favourite song of U2 when I was a huge fan of them back in the early 90s. Unfortunately for many reasons, I don't like them anymore these days and I also can't listen to the orginial versions of their songs. And now I find this, in a way more beuatiful version than the original for my taste, with Damien's voice and vibe - he rescued that song for me. Thanks!

yesterday i saw the first time the trailer of "the Impossible". i know i will love this movie. although i ´m already aware, that only tears will be left. For 100 minutes. and your music is definitely under the top 3 reasons, why this trailer works like hell. So i found you. Mr. Rice! Respect. I love this version, its deep and the voice of Damien Rice it´s simple perfect, but this is not a "real cover" because Damien modify the lyrics in order to put the message in a first person.. more personal. For me the result is even better..
Oh my god, I cant help the feeling it's Lisa on the backing vocals. Maybe it's super secret so that people don't start gossiping again. Or maybe my imagination has just gone too far.
Does anyone know where I can buy this. I love Damien, he expresses emotion in a way that few others can. I too didn't get the whole of this beautiful song until I heard this version
