I want to highlight that over 20 years ago, the government, recognizing the need for a streamlined and efficient electricity distribution system, sold 80% of their shares in a key company and enacted binding legislation that restricted competition. Although the design aimed to ensure stability and reliability, its implementation was flawed, leading to the creation of a monopoly. This effectively granted the company exclusive control over electricity distribution. While I do not blame the current administration, it is clear they are now dealing with the long-term consequences of these decisions….shouldn’t have taken this long however though 🤔

It was a short while ago I.was saying.to some one that St .Ann' s Bay Hospital should not be paying jps a cent because the hospital should be fitted with a solar system to power the hospital..We.need to start to proritize by using the solar system to help to protect.the environment and save.us some.money at the.same.time.

so misinform you are saying this because you hear it alot but never read a line in that agreement, access to information is their go apply for such information and educate yourself on the situation around JPS at the time when 80% of it was divested.Go and find out what state JPS was in financially at that time and the position the governent was in at such time.
