Can I employ you as my full time Race Engineer Gareth? I've never had someone rooting for me as much as you were in this one 🤣 Pretty sure you'd have run away with at least P4 had it not been for T1. Not sure if there was any damage, but I set the fasted lap I've ever done in this combo on lap 12, so that could have been all I had, 6 tenths off you're fastest pace. I think in hindsight, I could have got on the brakes to avoid rather more and increase my angle, rather than letting the car coast, which I thought would have given me enough. Anyway, good racing with you mate, hopefully we can get on track again sometime in the near future 👍🏻
Not sure there was a huge amount you could have done. You were coasting on a solid course to avoid me when my car makes a sudden extra snap and I jumped into your path. My fault. I was enjoying watching your progress on the relative and I'm happy that you recovered well and got a good result!
@cool3rking speaks the truth. They take a bit of getting used to as they don't move and drive like any other open wheeler, but once you start to feel it, the experience is incredible.
