Another song I’ve never heard but damn, it sure smacks you in the face!!

Aaron wrote this for his wife while in a drug rehab. He’s said it’s the most he’s ever put into a song wanting to express to her in honesty how he feels about himself and her . He asks her if she’ll give him a last chance and be there when he gets out of rehab but also states throughout how badly he feels about who he’s been understanding if she’s not there. He had a very rough career of drug use Johhhny cash like life , in and out of rehabs. He wrote this to her to promise her if she would be there this last time , he’d make up for the others and never do drugs again and he hasn’t since. Been clean since that rehab stint . Amazing guy!

I liked Aaron Lewis until he watched me get attacked in the front row of his concert at a small casino venue. He kept singing while a chick slammed my head into a chair and then the ground. She was pissed at me for standing and blocking her view.

Basically the song is saying that while he's with her he does good but his demons took control while he was out on the road without her. This was right before he checked into rehab and he's asking her to be there when he gets out
