I went to a ZZ TOP concert in the 80s. Their stage set was the dashboard of that car. The giant gas guage was on full when it began, and with every song the gas guage went lower and lower until it was on empty. Very cool 😎 band. My favorite ZZ Top song is "Give Me All Your Lovin".

Billy Gibbons, the lead guitarist and singer of ZZ Top is a huge car nut, and that is his 1933 Ford. You may find this hard to believe, but MTV used to play nothing but music videos! ZZ Top was one of the first bands to figure out the power of those music videos. They had their signature look with the long beards, and all their videos during that period featured Billy's 33 Ford and the 3 hot chicks.
With ZZ Top you got to check out all three of the Eliminator videos: Sharp Dressed Man, Give Me All Your Lovin, and Legs. Then check out the video for Got to Get Paid from La Futura. Almost thirty years between those two albums, but Billy, Frank, and Dusty still know their tube snake boogie.

I will say that this is my favorite ZZ top song and video. Both holds high quality,they reached the top in ZZ Top with this one in my view..and its for sure one of their bigger,if not the biggest? hit....great fun song,great video that is really fun watching...good story...all is great..Another good song they did,is Bad Girl...not as well known maybe,but a good one..really good too.

If you old school like me, you remember when MTV & BET were both great, could watch those channels all day, yes they were that good. Both trash now . I wasn't the biggest ZZ Top fan but they were catchy, I enjoyed watching them. Especially that car, with the girls. it was their trademark.
Yes ... that was their car !! Its a 1933 Ford 3 - window coupe !! I think it went through restoration in like the 70s but it's currently in the Rock and ROLL hall of fame museum !!

Yep. That car is literally everywhere they are. There is even a slot machine featuring ZZ Top and the most prominent thing on the game display is that car. There were many day dreams about that car rolling up and those ladies piling out of it.

Kinda funny that the drummer's name is Frank Beard and he's the only member without a beard. Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons have never shaved their beard in 40yrs, that's true commitment of having a beard. Just a couple of good ol' texas boys knowing how to rock.

They also have a thunderous song of cartoon ridiculousness called, 'Velcro Fly'. It is noteworthy only be a use Paula Abdul choreographed the video. She knew the group wasn't known for their dance moves but managed to give them a few steps to follow for the song. Then, the lyrics which are fun but silly.
