Best series I’ve ever seen. I know it’s not flawless and eventually plotholes and story lines got convoluted but it Was enthralling. So captivating. Not only the crazy mysteries and stories but the characters were perfect.

Nah it wasn't very good, it was super obvious they were making it up as they went along, its a mystery show but all of the mysteries had horrible reveals, a lot of the original characters changed and majority of the new characters sucked. a show like breaking bad is so much better

It started off good and got worse after season 2. Then season 4 was good again, but it should have ended then. Season 5 and 6 turned into a magic show and Jack's character development made mo sense.

These were so creative and the best. Jin parking the van in the Sopranos ending is hilarious. Nothing compares to the Newhart ending. Even here it is still the best ending in televison. They matched the set exactly.

I thought the ending of LOST was pretty great actually (by ending I mean the whole last season), but you had to understand it or at least try to understand it and make up your own version of what it all meant. It seems to me a lot of people here say the end was crap just because they read it on the internet or someone told them so.

I just finished the show yesterday and I don't get why people were unsatisfied with the finale. I think it's heartbreakingly perfect. It just fit, I've never experienced a finale like it. I seriously don't get all the negative talk about it.

@@bryanortega2699 everyone dies eventually. The story of the island ends after man in Black is killed and Jack sees the plane taking off. The rest is the souls of everyone reuniting in a place where time doesn't matter, and they move on together.

Some of my friends asked the hardest question about this series. What is it about? I mean it's impossible to say without spoiling or use a good 10 minutes explaining. First it was about getting of the island but it developed in to something crazy beyond season 5.

Lost is for me what Star Wars was for people in 1977. I just love it. It taught me people are two kinds: a person of science or a person of faith. Even the finale proves that...if you hated it, you're a person of science who tries to find a logical explanation for everything... if you loved it, you're a person of faith.

Lost didn't pave the way for Television heck it didn't pave the way for anything.The Sopranos is the most influential show ever,all of the TV shows that came after it were inspired by it's brilliance.The Sopranos paved the way for what a tv show could be.Without The Sopranos The Wire,Breaking Bad(and BCS),Mad Men and countless other tv shows wouldn't exist.Lost was a good show but it wasn't groundbreaking in any way.A lot of stuff that Lost did was taken from The Sopranos for example Anti-Hero main characters and the whole idea of an entire episode focused on one or two characters,which Lost did a lot and a lot of the episodes were totally redundant.

Ironically, when LOST first aired, I avoided watching until episode 10 ("Raised by Another") because I thought it was just going to be another Survivor ripoff. I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

LOST was truly the greatest TV show that has ever been created. It made me think in many ways that i had'nt done before. It was (over the past 6 years) the only thing i used to watch on TV, i really cant believe its over. if i could turn back time to before i started watching it. i definently would watch it all over again!! Most people don’t understand Lost because they didn’t watch it properly, not paying close enough attention. It’s so annoying - the way they don’t understand the most important and deep plot points.

all that they have existed for and all all that they have sacrificed for became the acclamation of what lost fans wanted the most, what benefited the characters they have known and loved for years, a simplistic yet very intricate feeling of a supreme closure, an ultimate oneness, the only happy ending that would truly Be sufficient enough to move on.

@Pwells1 The character development involves the choices characters would have made had things been different, and how their choices in the flash sideways parallel with their island lives. The best episodic-example of this is Dr Linus. Other than that, there are also small moments (though only a few), where their remorse and desire for forgiveness is further touched upon (the absolute best example being Ben and Locke outside of the church in the finale).

@Damon242 the other situation involving the principal harks back to season 5 flashback moments where Ben confronts Widmore (both on the choice to kill rousseau and alex, and when widmore is banished). All the important moments of the characters' life on the island are returned to the episode's flash sideways setting, and re-explored.
