Katherine had real control over Damon. He did love her truly. For a very long time. Damon wasn't bad when he became a vampire. He was head over heels for a vampire who took him for a tumultuous ride for a 140 odd years. On the way he met Sage who twisted him. When he got caught by the Augustines' they screwed with him for a good 5 years with all the mankind helping experiments. He turned off his humanity at the end of those 5 years. Then when he got his humanity back he was disappointed by Stefan. Stefan, Elena and Katherine were just about the only people who had real control over him. Then Bonnie got an influnce after they went to the prison world. Once Katherine left the scene the whole thing changed. Klaus also plagued by his parents was also paranoid and crazy. Had trust issues. He and Hayley were 2 messed up people who got something at the bottom of a bottle which gave a singular common purpose. You need people who believe in you. That's what matters.
stefan was always better than Damon, even when Stefan and Elena broke up Stefan didnt go on killing people just because of a breakup. im glad with everything Katherine said here, she is completely right and mainly fell for Stefan because she saw the purity in him that once was her before Klaus came alone and with Damon she sees a monster in that she also has in herself.
considering how easy it was for her to use Rose and Trevor when she first became a vampire she already had darkness inside herself long before Klaus came into her life. There is also the fact that Stefan did a lot of terrible things as well in season 3 when he went on his own revenge mission. Hard truth is that neither Damon or Stefan are better or worse
Stefan turned demon ..demon had his humanity he was in self control stefan was ripper he changed because of his guilty he was always pampered by her family..😞demon was always criticized but he saved lives of many but silently😞
