Yeah I’m building this myself so it’s hard to pay for the subscription for this ecto1 but I can build it with no problem I would love to build this one for you Dan I only need my kit fully paid for because I’m on a fixed income so that is why it is hard for me to pay for the whole kit upfront

Cool but the hubcaps are completely wrong. They should have a white rim around them. How could they make such a basic mistake?

The hubcaps look to be correct. Standard 59 Cadillac hubcaps were used on the commercial chassis that the Miller Meteor Futura Ambulance was built on. But this model is missing the White Wall tires that was on the ecto 1. But the man in the video says this is the "Prototype". So I'm sure small issues like that will be corrected. also think HIGHLY detailed features will be taken away as well.... I.e. the rotating lights within the lightbars....

its a prototype lol as said, the tyres are called whitewall and they have them now, hub caps are right

the hubcaps are fine. the car in the first movie had standard chromed hubcaps and whitewall tires, the car for the second movie, being much heavier with the larger roof rack, had the white -trimmed hubcaps and heavy duty, non-whitewall tires

It’s annoying that the prototype has the rear lower lights working and the final product doesn’t. Just the upper tips .

Yeah, except you don't get the parts because the issues are always on back order. Supposed to take a little over 24 months but I'm guessing it will realistically take close to 5 years to live in hell with an invested relationship with Eaglemoss. Same for the Back to the Future Delorean if anyone wants to know.. 🤯

No, they are gonna use the build it yourself model so that they can release 4 pieces a month for $10.90 each piece and before you know it, you'll end up spending around $3-5 grand finishing the damn thing.

@@darrenlambert2099 I know this is a year later and maybe the kinks are worked out. I did the math yesterday based on what eaglemoss' site says. $12.90 & $2.45 shipping each month 4 portions of it each shipment 141 pieces. It's about $541 barring any price changes when all said and done and about 3 years.
