I can hear this song all day he put such emotion into this ❤️🙏 this song this man was the love of my life to the point I married a Hungarian that could have been his twin 💖 my husband also died young I have never married again
Thank you Mr. Lipschutz, for posting this video/song by your friend. Are you the young man on the far left on guitar? Did you stay in touch with the other band members including Dan?
Thank you Mike, I am indeed the young guitarist on the left side on my wedding day. 😊 Unfortunately Dan deceased in 2005. But our friends are still in touch as doctors, dentists, and business men mostly retired now.
Dan Byrd , born as Daniel Fogel the 25th May 1953 in Antwerp, Belgium, recorded one LP "Stay" in 1982. His song Boulevard became an international hit, but Dan Byrd never appeared on stage and died in 2005 after a long disease. He remains in our hearts for ever in his songs which still remain RU-vid hits all over the world.
Daniel Fogel alias Dan Byrd was born in Antwerp, Belgium, the 25th May 1953 and passed away in 2005. He should not be confused with the American actor Dan Byrd. He was the lead singer of a band called "Hassidic blues orchestra" in the seventies. Daniel Fogel, alias Dan Byrd recorded a long play Stay in 1982 in Belgium under the label LARK distributed by POLYDOR in 1983 in Singapour, Malaysia and Hong Kong and by VICTOR in Japan.
When you slap together an old video that doesn't seem to rhyme with the beautiful song, you don't do justice to honor the memory of Dan Byrd! I'm deeply disappointed.
I understand your disappointment but this is the only document of Dan Byrd live. It is a mute document. I added this beautifull song of him to make it a living memory.
@@aldikurniawan3446 Dan Byrd made several records but never appeared in public. We were a few friends making music for fun. As we started our careers we were absorbed by our family life and only rarely appeared in family celebrations. This authentic document made in 1971 shows Dan Byrd singing at my wedding. As the sound quality was not good I dubbed his song Boulevard on the original movie so you fans could see Dan Byrd as he was. Unfortunately he passed away so he only remains forever in his records.
