To mark the occasion, the AEON 2 (US$899) is a planar-magnetic headphone that features a reworked motor assembly, thicker earpads and a foldable gimbal mechanism for vastly improved portability. Closed-back and open versions available. Ships with a 2-meter 'DUMMER' cable.
I've been playing with the closed-back version of the AEON 2 for the past couple of weeks but an open-back version is also coming to market.
