Dan Garcia, Ph.D., is a teaching professor in the electrical engineering and computer science department at the University of California, Berkeley. He shares his mission to broaden participation for underrepresented groups in computer science. He has created and shared the curriculum of his course, The Beauty and Joy of Computing, with the express intent to increase participation of underrepresented groups.
