This boss fight was so special from others, its because Sunday never had any malicious intent. It was all just a mere ideology clash, and secondly THE GOATED OST i actually felt suspense near the end, have i never felt such towards fiction.
Honest Sunday's ideology was theoretically way better since it guarantees survival and eternal-fleeting happiness. The only issue was that he doesn't have the means to implement it.
He even chose to sacrifice himself instead of his sister. I think he's truly "selfless" where he takes on everyone's grievances but never acts on his "own", no matter how much he wishes to be with robin (platonically).
@@ColdFury1there is no actual eternal happiness right , let's say you were transported to a world where you will get everything you ever wanted, for the first few days/months/years you will definitely be super blissful and happy but once you realise that if everything ever you want is given to you then life is just boring, and mundane It is the hard ship's which makes those moments happy So if you were to live in a perfect blissful world with no conflict then you will eventually be felt trapped in a cage of unending boredom and despair
@@bukojoetheslapsoils8273 hoyo fans doesn't know what good plot means lol all because genshin kinda affected them with it's terrible pacing(never let them know how prime Disney cooks)
*You clap for Peak Fiction. *You clap for Peak Fiction. *You clap for Peak Fiction. *You weep in sorrow before Peak Fiction. *You stagger before Peak Fiction. *You kneel before Peak Fiction.
@@bryan-kw3me From my understanding, the "true death" was mentioned by himeko which is if they did not succeed and everyone gets stuck in the dream of the order, and they mentioned they needed to prevent that, which in the end they did.
The Herrscher of Thunder call backs in this quest is insane from "Why" playing in the background as Acheron reveals her name as "Raiden Bosenmori Mei" and paying homage to Kiana and Mei when Acheron was reaching out for us while we were falling, this made me go INSANE XD
Penacony's arc was so satisfying to play. Completely restored my love for the game after a long period of burnout. The part where Robin swooped down to her brother for a well needed hug was so heartfelt and satisfying, paired with the soft piano. He needed to be woken up from his dream just like the rest of Penacony.
Fr my passion for this game went crazy after penacony, since xianzhou flopped so hard for me this arc was a make it or break it and I'm happy they landed it
the last ending after sunday's fall is also a fake ending..tbh the only scene that was real is the post credit one with boothill and aventurine confrontation
@@familyquek8316it’s because Sumeru’s story was well written : all character worked together, we had good plot twists, very charismatic characters that were really smart (unlike what we saw in Inazuma with Kokomi…) etc
To be honest, I have never felt so excited because of the story before. This is the best story ever. I love the plot, it's complex and intriguing. But then it becomes one unity
same dude omg when i defeated the first one i was like this cud not be the end- lo and behold i was right. i cant imagine a more satisfying ending xD to think we might have one more update in penacony before we go off to another world/star system or something xD
Aye. Did anyone here wonder.. what happened with the sparkle button in the end? That sucker been distributing his elation everywhere.. but i don't see that thing being used..
With this quality of animation and story quest for 2.2, we can safely assume that hoyoverse got millions of revenue with 2.1 banners 😂😂😂 seriously with each patch the game is becoming better and better :)
True, for me the final fight with Phantylia and overall story of Luofu is so underwhelming I quit the game lol, then I comeback at 1.6 because of ruan mei quest
i just started playing during Acheron's banner and now I didnt expect I am catching up with the current update of the finale of Penacony within a few days ago😱😱😱
We clearly have more in store in 2.3. Firefly's 2 deaths, the buttons Sparkle gave away, Boothill and Aventurine, not to mention I would imagine that we get some peace negotiations like the fake ending intended. And, we still havent seen Firefly'(SAM)s green winged form. Im guessing we'll get a prologue with Firefly's POV, where we witness these deaths. Himeko mentioned the third death being put to unending sleep by the Order. So the second death probably happens inbetween the fake ending and our walk through the grand theather. But just who will she confront that will require her to use that form of her armor?
Probably Firefly went after the current leader of Penacony (the one who talks through crows). In the cutscene after her departure, we can see all the crows “turning off” and dropping next to Sunday, which means, she was successful.
@@venargraden9773 That makes sense. But I hope she doesnt actually die... probably not considering shes already playable, but how will this second death really unfold? I wonder if this battle will end in a way where she sacrifices herself
@@ElizeniasFunkinArtNVA I believe we’ll get her episode in 2.3 on what she did and how. (She also said that she would die at least once in the process.). Another thing I’d like to see is episode Argenti - what he did in Penacony and how he get in and out of IX
@@venargraden9773 Also speaking of Argenti, he didnt have any voicelines when I played it. Like his voice just wasnt there. Was that a glitch on my end or?
Damn I feel bad for sunday, the boss fight felt special since his intents were far from malicious, he was in fact very selfless, even in Robin's memory she asked if he ever had his own wish and he only said his wish is whatever is hers 💔
Now that I think about it, the entire Jing Yuan cutscene was already a dead giveaway that it was a Dream since how the heck are you able to transport an entire fleet of Xianzhou Starskiff inside the dreamscape without any other family members even being somewhat concerned
The initial final boss seems pretty short and rushed compared to other previous bosses, even the doomsday is long to attack but the cutscene is pretty good after all
I didn't understand whether Jing became an Express passenger or crew member 3 more could join for Path and missing attributes, a male, a female and one as an alternative to the sex of the Trail blazer... to have a complete group
So did all of them enter the dream at the same time when MC enter a dream and meet acheron for the first time? Since we know Misha isnt real and we can just meet him in the dream, all story we do is a lie
I really satisfied with this story, moment and everything but i have two beefs; Welt, do something. Being smartest and wise not helping so much… And i hoped we would see how Aventurine escaped
