I have been to the Texas Renaissance festival and man do they take that shit seriously. It is a huge deal back home in Texas and I had always wanted to go but didn't drive until my half-brother came to town and took me and my best friend. It was awesome and probably better than most Renaissance festivals because it's really huge and so it gets pretty immersive.

Thank God that you brought up how John mulaney sucks or his show sucks because I have never understood this guy being called funny. Don't like any of his side projects either. I cannot connect with John mulaney.

There is an option for the Suns....This started from a Cap Space podcast I was watching which was talking about how the Suns and the Lakers were screwed going into the next CBA and then I thought......how could the Spurs come out on top of this. Challenge accepted and wow was that was a rabbit warren. So messy and stays on Fanspo though it was one interesting conundrum to think through a scenario that would at least garner something for each team. For the executive summary crew it boiled down to: - How to get something for LeBron without letting him go into free agency. - How the Suns get the cap space to take on LeBron while keeping a pick for Bronny and get some useful pieces for post LeBron with free agency being their primary way forward. - The Hawks commit to Trae, get better pieces around him, and still get two useful picks this year. - How the Spurs get pick #1 in 2024, a mid first rounder, some interesting pieces, and some future first rounders in the future to use for when Wemby and the team are ready for big trades to fill out the roster. For those who like a bit of a read knock yourselves out below 🤣. So the Lakers-Suns-Hawks-Spurs trade looks like this and it got the Fanspo it works ticket of approval. Lakers get Durant Beal, and Lundy. They need to decline the offers on Wood, Reddish, and Hayes and send the 2024 17th pick to the Spurs and their 2030 picks to the Spurs along with various players and need to do a sign and trade of Lebron. The benefit is they don't lose Lebron for nothing and they get some players who will sell jerseys and are sellable to lose Lebron for somewhat. Suns get Lebron, Reaves, Murray and Okongwu. They have to decline the offer on Gordon and send out various players. They do get to keep their 2024 pick to use on Bronny to keep Lebron and they get a better balanced group of younger players and flexibility to bring in better players through free agency in the future when Lebron retires and get off Beal's contract. Hawks get Hachimura, Allen, Johnson, Collins, Osman, Branham, and Roddy. They also trade out the 2024 #1 pick and their 2030 first round pick to the Spurs for the Spurs' #4 and #8 2024 picks, and 2028 and 2030 second round picks. They get deeper with the players brought in and get two top ten picks in the 2024 draft while committing to Trae. Spurs get Hunter, Griffin, Krejci, Nurkic, Little, O'Neale, Russell and Prince along with the 2024 #1, 2030 Hawks first round pick, #17 2024 pick, and Lakers' 2030 first round pick. The Spurs take on salary, some interesting young players, some useful veterans to keep or trade, and the 2024 #1 and #17 picks along with two future first round picks in 2030. Dreams are nice things to have and I can't wait to see what the Spurs do over the next 1-3 years to get this great franchise back to the top and stay there for a long time to come. GSG!

Found a few others…Varejao with the Cavs. Jon Koncak with the Hawks. Nene played his first 10 with the Nuggets. My follow-up Q…what constitutes a role player? Less than 10ppg? 5rpg? 20 minutes per game? I’m heading down a rabbit trail. Send help! :)

Love the role player question! Are we talking guys that ONLY played for 1 team?? Not too many of those for 9-10 years or more. Charles Oakley played 10 years for the Knicks. Big Z (Zydrunas) played 12 years for the Cavs. AK47 played 10 years for the Jazz. Was he a role player? Maybe not for a couple years…

Maybe because of his super athletes family and his sister in particular, I feel Steven Adams could really excel in one of those events. I know that in disk throwing, technique is very important and in some other heavy sports, strength is really next level and way above even Steven Adams level, but ih he had training, that guy has the genes to do something in those heavy athletics. Tas picking gymnastics of all things is bold strategy, gymnastics in my opinion is one of the most impressive things humans can do. I know Biles took over, but when McKayla Maroney was at the peak, I had a moment where I got into her, the fact she was very pretty to me helped haha, but man she was impressive. For how great NBA athletes are, none of them could do that stuff even with lifelong training imo, it is probably something you just have to have from birth, maybe I am wrong, but just mental make up is different. It is also one of those rarer sports, where female version is more compelling imo, I know gymnastics has impressive men, but if you watch Biles or Maroney, it is very compelling. I often wonder this very thing, what other sports Basketball guys would be good at at? I do that with my countrymen all the time, like it has to be some kind of Sport where Domas Sabonis would be good at, right? I think he is underrated athlete in a sense he has very good stamina and is big and in great shape. for a 6'10 strenghty guy, he really never seem to get tired. Some, maybe most centers even, like remember Omer Asik, etc. you can tell when they hit that wall after 5 minutes of running, they look brutal. Domas Sabonis has great stamina man, dude is a work horse. Maybe this will be national bragging and has nothing to do with anything, but I just want to nationaly brag, my nation Lithuania, is small and obviously not dominant sports nation at all, but we always been good at Basketball, and randomly always good in strongmen competitions, and disk throwing and stuff like that. Maybe you do not even know what strongmen events are, but in Lithuania, everyone knows that crap, it is randomly on TV all the time, just 6'5 mountain of men flipping those giant tires or lifting those 500 pound stones or literally pulling Boeings and stuff, its funny. Canada always has f'ing Curling on TV, and I always wondered, how the f--- you can have Curling on TV, isn't that insane? But man, we have strongmen tournaments on tv all the time, it is hilarious. We do have very very big boys over here, our Basketball development system is honestly pretty trash, always has been, most of our guards seriously can not dribble the damn ball, and for years we just stay relevant, because we count on some tall guy figuring it out how to put the ball in the basket. Ilgauskas, Arvydas Sabonis, Jonas Valančiūnas, Domantas Sabonis. It always been the trend. Our National team peaked in around 2003-2007 in my opinion, and it really was anomaly generation, because we probably had 3 of the best backcourt players you could ever have outside USA, Jasikevičius, Macijauskas and Šiškauskas, all playing at the same time, it was wonderful. I think Šiškauskas is probably the most skilled ISO perimeter player we have ever had, its either him or Marčiulionis, but I would say Šiškauskas has that covered. The fact he never actually played in the NBA, is insane. And the funny part, he never played basketball as a kid, he picked up when he was 16 and became one of the best ball handling perimeter threats in Euroleague history, guy was natural, our development never got the chance to ruin him, he just tried out once and was instantly great...

Big props to Skeets for thinking ''Hitman'' would be based on video game character. I know Skeets is not video game guy, but YES, Agent 47 is OG, when did original Hitman and Hitman 2 came out, around late 90s, and 2003? Man those games were amazing at a time, groundbreaking. All Movie adaptations were terrible tho, ''Hit man'' is probably a better movie, tho I too never heard of it until now.

Seems kind of weird that I haven't heard a lot of pushback against Tom Thibodeau after all of those Knicks players going down. I heard a few people predicting that the Knicks would fall apart physically in the playoffs and they actually did. I know he got an excuse because of early injuries to play all of his guys a lot of minutes but he was doing that anyhow.
