You can't find yourself through one another. You find yourself through HIM. You find the why behind your life through Jesus Christ. You understand why you're alive, you understand who you are and maybe for the first time in your life you have a sense of security and understanding that's not vanity and pride, it's actually truth and knowing. And all of a sudden you realize your life is worth His blood, your life is worth His Spirit living inside, because He said so. He knows what you'll look like when He's in you and you're surrendered and He believes that's worth paying for. And you can only find yourself, truly find yourself in and through Him.
I was enjoying the message until I heard “prayer isn’t to make you feel better. “ First thing first, his spirit is a comforter. In order for something to be comforted, it has to be first be in a state of discomfort. Second, he told me to cast my cares on him. So whatever is bothering me, he invites me to bring it to him. I’m not saying he’ll validate all feelings, but he will strengthen me or at the very least, teach me how to think if I’m praying about that I be made whole. I saw The psalmists wept before him so much. He also told me with all prayer & supplication to make my request known. So I can’t agree with that statement. However I love the part about our identity being in Jesus Christ. That freedom is more powerful than anything I’ve ever experienced
I appreciate your message, I really do. My husband was a pastor for 30 years and your preaching/teaching reminds me of him. The difference for me, and an important one "to me", is that you are quoting a lot of scripture, but you only referenced the scripture one time, but you quoted 30 different scriptures. My husband would say, in Hebrews chapter 3 God tells us, or Jesus said, or the disciples remind us etc... some and maybe a lot of people listening to you, hear a good motivational teaching, but they who may not know a lot of scripture, don't know they are hearing God's promises from scripture. I just think it is important to give Yahweh God the credit for what words are His when we are teaching.
I think people think they pray and focus on christ coz they need him to go trough difficulties, tyhatswhy most people rely on christ and humble themselves, that what I used to belive, to be humble. But Dan message has changed me from selfish prayer and understand gospel from different angle, rather way. We cant go wrong by praying To Jesus to guide is in truth
Perserverencr though trials makes your faith complete, lacking nothing. Its ok to feel like you struggle living in a fallen world. Ask God for wisdom, he cares for you. Even amidst your trials. Gods love isnt tied to your performance, its tied to his character
I did hear halfway through when he says most people don't need prayer. You don't always need prayer for feelings. Sometimes you need prayer when you DO understand what the Truth is, but need God's help to NOT get swept up in the undertow of all encompassing pain. You can understand and desire truth, but pain/devastating circumstances can leave you needing God to just breathe.
He didn't mean don't need prayer personally. He meant asking people for prayer. He was specifically talking about having a memory of past mistakes. That is not what I am talking about.
@@saradanser894 Dan teaches how to do this in a video on RU-vid. How to be transformed. His free online school on Kingdom Living is excellent in learning how to walk this all out.
If anyone of you really want Truth you have to search for it, advice dont go to church, they have some of the truth, but half the truth is still a lie 💯📖 facts are that the Torah is part of the new covenant, look up Jeremiah 31:33 in the Hebrew, book of Hebrews quotes that very scripture, Messiah himself said heaven and earth would pass before anything perished from the Torah Mathew 5:17-20, Messiah kept the Torah perfectly and said follow Me i have laid before you the perfect example, sadly people want to take away from the Father's perfect Torah, dont fall for it, NO ONE has the authority to do so , not even the Son that's why he said I do nothing of myself, of course we don't keep the Torah to earn salvation, it is the Father's instructions and will for our lives, we can only be justified through the Blood of Messiah Yeshua , but do we continue in sin that grace may abound GOD FORBID Romans 6:1-2, do we make void the Torah through faith GOD FORBID we ESTABLISH the Torah Romans 3:31, the whole point of the Torah is to point out sin, if you get rid of it we no longer are aware of these sins the Torah points out, may YAH bless you all 🙏💯♥️☝️📖
