I am blessed to be alive, and to be listening to Dan Mohler right now. I've died 5 times, and once spent a week in a coma. God has a plan for me, and it doesn't involve addiction or sin. When my time comes it will be up to God, not by my own hand. I love Jesus.

Wow that is heavy

I wanted good health, instead I got an inoperable brain tumor. I wanted a career, instead I was laid off from my last job. I wanted a family, instead I endured psychological abuse and manipulation for over a decade, and right now I am struggling with all this while I get ready to say goodbye to my son, when he goes to live with his dad... BUT I WILL FOREVER PRAISE THE LORD, THE FATHER OF LIGHTS!! Why? Because like Paul said in his letter to the church in Rome, "neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus" I think I'm finally getting the hang of this! About deliverance being unnecessary, I was attending Christ for the Nations in Dallas and we had a guess speaker that had an altar call. Then when he saw the number of people that had responded, he said some of you students need to come up and pray for someone. I was toast. Totally tired, but I asked God if he wanted me to pray for someone. And in the crowd, this one guy kept standing out to me. So I go up to him and put my hands on his back and started praying. He started heaving. Like a dog that ate grass to throw up what he had ate. So I'm prayin' and he's like heaving and a young teen walks up and says, "That's a devil." Then he reaches down and flips him over, and he falls over stiff as a board. So I still think that this is not a devil, cause he's going to Bible School. But we put our hands on him and started praying, and his neck swelled up quite a bit bigger and his eyes like flipped back and he had these "snake eyes" looking up at me. I mean they looked exactly like snake eyes. And now I back up really scared, and say to the other guy, "It's a devil!" We would pray and he would manifest in the same way again. It wouldn't come out of him in Jesus name. So I asked the guy why it wouldn't go. And he said, "He's got a sin that he doesn't want to let go of." And that was in Bible School!

Dan believes that praying the prayer of repentance and salvation isn't because you don't want to go to hell but to heaven is a selfish prayer, you pray it that you may become like Jesus and impact your world. Act 2:37; 16:30 wasn't about becoming more like Jesus and impacting your world. It was about escaping The Wrath of God. Acts 2, the great sermon of Peter, was it about becoming more like Jesus and impacting your world? I think Dan has the cart before the horse. Yes, becoming a child of God is ALSO about becoming like Jesus to impact your world but initially it is about being SAVED and SAVED from what; GOD'S WRATH...:)...God bless
