I don't understand why so many people don't like Baek kyung because if you think about it, he's just pushing her away cause he's scared that he's going to lose her just like everyone who comes close to him does e.g his mum. Most fans view Baek kyung as the 'villian' because he keeps on coming in between her and Haru but if you think about it, even though Haru knew he was gonna dissappear, he still kept on making himself closer to her and causing her to have feeling for him even though he knew that when he does dissappear, she's going to be extra hurt cause he has a place in her life. Whereas, Baekkyung, pushed her away from the very start because of the constant abuse he faces from his father which is one of the reasons as to why he doesn't like her as much but also because of her heart condition, not cause he's disgusted by it. It's because he knows that if he lets her in his life, he knows he's gonna lose her soon and that's something he can't take in cause of the pain/trauma he's faced with his mother passing away. Another reason, could be because of his toxic father, who wants Baekkyung to marry her, and he knows that of she does marry him, his dad is probably gonna treat her badly, once he gets his investment from her father so he doesn't want her to go through the constant emotions abuse he has to live through. (I really hope she actually tries to understand his situation at least cause the only one who's keeping him sane is her 'love' for him. She's symbolises hope and light for him, because unlike everyone else, the only person who has ever loved and not just used him is her and his mother❤)
Haru continue to pursue her even tho he knew she was going to die in book 4. They just wanted to make best of their time. I just can't make myself to ship them. I like baek kyung tho. But Haru have sacrificed much more than Baek kyung.
@@jazs23ggic14 Oh wow, I haven't actually read the book so I didn't know but it makes me look at Haru in a different light after finding out he has done alot for her. It's just that I guess I just ship her with Baek kyung so much because it's kinda obviously that he's gonna have a sad ending, and it's gonna be worse that he's not even gonna get the girl he likes which makes it seem like a never ending cycle of pain for him😣
@@ninni7917 I think it's only stage Dan oh who understands and knows about Baek Kyung's situation though because when they were in the hospital, he starts shivering cause he's almost reliving the trauma of his mum in the hospital but in that moment shadow Dan oh had no idea of what's happening to him since she doesn't know the situation so I don't think she actually knows, at least her shadow self doesn't know, which matter more in this situation cause she's more aware of her feelings. Also, if shadow Dan Oh knew about this situation, hopefully she will feel less bitter towards him.
i really feel sorry for kyung .. he likes dan oh , its obvious he does but he's so confused between whats he does in the stage and what he feels ..its so unfair for him ..
honestly i really hate when haru tries to bother whenever kyung wants to talk or spend time with eun dan oh. like poor kyung because he is actually likes eun dan oh but got confused between what he does in the stage and what he does in the shadow.
Well duh, he cant look into his head and know what he wants. I'd also protect loved ones from people who made them feel shitty before, especially if it happened multiple times.
Why can't people understand that the rude Baek Kyung is the stage Baek Kyung? Just like how timid, sickly and inlove stage Dan Oh is.. Baek Kyung can't do anything beyond what the writer has set for his character. He doesn't understand what's happening to him and he's torn and confused everytime he is in Shadow whether he stays true to his character or act the way he feels as he doesn't know why he feels that way in the first place..no one was there to explain to him what's happening unlike Dan Oh and Dohwa when they first awakened.. in the end, we all know he won't be with Dan Oh so give him some lax, people..
Idk, i mean i understand, doesnt mean i want them together. I want him to get better and become happy, but he needs to learn that on his own no matter what his feelings towards her are.

But behind that rudeness is a soft hearted man who is scared to be left by the people love him and now that eun dan oh is changing and seeing her taking away from him is total scary... I cried at the scene where Baek Kyung told Dan Oh that he remembered everything and also when He ask Dan Oh about her real feelings. Like "WAAAAHHHHH" it hurts. Poor Baek Kyung! btw, it is in the latest episode.
one of the best edits i've seen so far dangggg alsooo this may sound toxic but i ship dan oh with baek kyung more, i actually find their pair far more interesting as the drama progresses (their character development esp kyung's) and that it's kind of unfair to kyung since he acts like a jerk ONLY because the writer made him that way but we can see in the shadow he's actually concerned for dan oh he's just scared. nyw preparing myself already because i know they're not endgame butttt i hope atleast they give mah boi some justice and make him smile more often. seriously its heartbreaking.

It feels sad when I know baek kyung and danoh will not be ended up together based on how kdrama will always be.. But it feels strangely comforting when there were so many fmv of baek yung and danoh ship at the youtube, like its sooo many than male lead... Sorry haru, but i just cant stop ship danoh and baek yung..😘
Well I think they're both main leads. And idk why so many on team BK are already devasted abt the ending when there's so many eps left. The ending of the drama can be different from the webtoon ending so,,, let's just see. 🙊🙊
Honestly baekyung has lost his chance, there was a time where dan oh on stage and in shadow actually wouldve liked baekyung but he woke up too late, and i think he wouldn't have woken up at all unless haru was there to disrupt the chain. I feel bad for baekyung and the things he has to put up with but at the end of the day it's the writer's fault lol. I predict a sad ending for this drama.
I ship haru and dan oh, I know they are gonna end up together and I really like the chemistry those two have but honestly speaking the relationship between baekkyung and dan oh is really interesting and I wanna see more of it and how it progresses. I prefer the scenes these two have together but I ship the other couple... this is the first time this has happened to me and I'm really confused TT.
I honestly hate him, I find him too violent and cruel. I hate the way he treats Dan Oh, she's sick and he just yells at her and makes her feel miserable. Now that she has no interest in him is when he notices her, if Haru wasn't there, he would treat her badly until he finished the comic and probably until she died. PD: your video is great.

Baek kyung loved eun dan oh but he didnt want to be hurt when she dies! just like with his mom baek kyung just gave up on her getting better because he believed his mom wouldnt die! So baek kyung wasnt the bad guy he was just Broken. And when baek kyung saw her with haru he knew he lost but still thought that he could get her back but he was way to late, baek kyung wanted haru to leave so he tried to make him go away and when he disappeared he knew he was to late for her to like him again like in the book.
kyung likes Dan Oh while in the shade, but is forced to act so bad on stage. This is getting too confusing and annoying for him, and he's finally gonna realize himself.

i’m not being bias here but there’s a scene kyung should act infront of his father that he did impress danoh and gonna marry her etc, but he just lied to his dad and not gonna marry her, and now kyung confused about his feelings towards danoh between stage world and on his shadows. Plus, the latest episode he got aware of himself and done reading the comic book and i think that he might change the whole situation in that book and make haru move away from danoh.

I understand all the pain he's been through but that does not change the fact that he treated people like shit. And he knows that Dan Oh likes Haru, but almost forced her to return his feelings. You may not understand me. But you have to admit that there is things to hate in him.
