Dan is brash, he has no filter, and I wouldn't have him any other way. The speeches of his here on RU-vid are literal gold, I've managed to launch a business in the medical commodities field making upwards of 10k a month and got myself out of near bankruptcy, all within the last 3 months by taking deliberate action and taking the absolute truths that Dan Pena spits out in these speeches to heart. It's all available for free here on RU-vid, not in some course that costs as much as a used car and written by some "eGuru" that's probably never ran a business outside of his courses and upsells. If you want to go somewhere in life, find a mentor who's where you want to be and listen. Just shut up, listen, and most importantly ACT. Thus, I've already taken action on the advice given by Mr Pena. 1) Joined a Rotary Club. 2) I've already been a Toastmasters for almost four years, so that's a given. 3) Looking for a country club to join which is related to the rotary club I joined recently. 4) Following QLA for Dummies - read both Think and grow rich, and Release your Brakes which is mind-blowing to me. 5) Stop hanging or chilling with loser friends, and rather be alone.
Mr. Peña, I discovered you because a great friend of mine, George L. Rosario told me I absolutely must follow you and learn from you. Just so that you know a little of the background, George has been mentoring me. He took me on at a very dark time in my life, when I had actually contemplated suicide. Today I'm a successful entrepreneur and continue to call him my friend. One of the first people he told me I had to listen to was you. He told me you would take me from feeling sorry for myself and hurting myself, and show me that the complaining and self pity was worthless and that what I needed was some tough love to take me to the next level. George L. Rosario was right about Mr. Dan Peña. Your tough love worked. Now I am a lot more capable of telling the shit face idiots of the world to go fuck off and get out of my way. Just got done helping my friend track a deer that was wounded. We had almost an identical conversation when we found it in good health and came back home. C'est la vie (that is life). I am not even a hunter, but the responsible action was to make sure that the deer would not go to waste if it was felled by an Archer's bow, or that it was strong enough to survive. Some people do not get that I guess. The deer won. I never had to field dress one, and for how many times I got fed Venison at their place? 50/50, it will be smashed by a truck on the highway and rot or turned into food on a cold night by a hungry individual. The world is not lollipops and rainbows. The world is Chaos and dreams about Chaos when you sleep. Ignorance is a gift.

I'm quite surprised Mr Peña was invited to talk in Boston, given the so "politically correctness", the "Social Justice" & the "Socialism" ideals that BU among other College institutions around the area are caught up to nowadays ...... quite refreshing to hear a self made man speaking freely his mind, his own way, under his own terms, from life experience & from the success he's acquired.
