I had "King of New York" on a mix tape many years ago and didn't realize it came from this album.

Thank you for putting this up. I lost my physical version I bought in college back in 00 in a move or god knows when and I regretted it ever since.

Takes me back to the golden era of prime Kool Keith and Automator…

I love this album! After I heard Deltron 3030 for the first time I seeked out all of Dan the Automator's music and found this on CD. That's when I also discovered how badass Dr Octagon is. The music store in my town where I lived had Dr octagon categorized as techno music for some reason, so I never thought to check it out. I'm so glad I eventually did! Now it's one of my favorite albums ever. Handsome Boy Modeling School with Prince Paul is also amazing.

I bought this from 75 Ark back in the day, and to this day their label had the thickest vinyl I've ever seen. Deep rich hop hop beats like this sound fucking incredible cranked in analog.

a better tomorrow still thumps as a opening track. Dan has made some great beats over the years, but the production on this whole LP is god tier. you get a few good minutes to appreciate the beat in whole, and the buildup to Keith dropping his weird rhymes and the Death Wish sample kill it clean. i'm also very fond of Sleep and Cartoon Capers.
