Dan Vasc ❤ is a top-class artist. He has the experience of working on this fantastic voice for years and can be proud of himself and his skills. Thx for sharing.
Don't apologize for being human. Thank you for fighting for our country and the tremendous sacrifices you've made to protect us and the great US of A. We are privileged to have men like you in the military. Love and great respect to you and your family. Your wife must be a wonderful woman.❤
No apologizes, Your emotions deserve to be seen. And it's really nice that you have your wife to help you get back into life. Dan vasc knows what depression is and he brings up emotions with his beautiful voice and empathy, precisely to feel and deal with them. A hug for you.
My husband also returned from Iraq with PTSD so no apologies necessary. He developed Lewy Body Dementia six months after they suspect from burn pits. He died at age 46 just a few years after returning. This song resonates.
Thank you for your service Sir. Don’t ever apologize for your emotions. I suffer from something similar from my son passing in a car accident. Having PTSD is like living in a prison. Thank you for sharing your story. Dan isn’t just a metal singer, he’s a phenomenal singer who relates to many emotions he has had. May God bless and keep you both in his care!
That was a great and heartfelt reaction. No need to apologize for your feelings. Dan Vasc did an exceptional job on this cover. Epic. Thank you very much for your review.
Dan brings us all to life and wakes us up inside. He sings so powerful and with such emotion. Thank you for your service and happy to know your wife is your hero. Great personal reaction. Take good care.
No apologies necessary, I loved your deeply true reaction, take good music like this one, feel the love of your wife and friends, then you have started to heal. And let's all follow this amazing singer, it brings us all such great energy and power!
No need to apologize . Thank you for the beautiful reaction. Thank you for your service. My Brother served on the front lines of Nam and came back a different person. Still to this day. Stay strong and God bless. It sounds like you have an amazing wife. Bless you both.
You can't imagine how many times I've cried and continue to cry when I watch Dan's videos. You'll be fine. Dan is fantastic and touches us a lot, his voice is unique and very emotional. Tks 😊
Bless you DDPerks, I am so happy you found your wife, and that she is your safety blanket. Don’t apologize for showing us how you feel ❣️❣️❣️ keep up the good work.
No apologies needed, and that being said, thank you for your service. That you are now able to feel your emotions, please don’t try to stuff them down deep inside yourself again. Dan Vasc's voice and artistry often bring me to tears.
First of all, thank you for your service to our country. God bless you and so happy that He brought that special person into your life to help you heal. Thank you so much for your great reaction to this incredible performance by Dan. I love this song. Looking forward to the next one. I am always going to ask for more Dan Vasc.
Ohhh my, I'm in tears right now. I've not looked at this song from your perspective until now. I have chronic deep depression and am reacting at a visceral level. Thank God for your wife, and I thank God for my family. And thank you, Dan, for blessing us with your faith and incredible talent!
Don't apologize for emotion. We're so fortunate to have music, which can always reach deep inside us and sometimes help to heal us. Best wishes to both you and your wife. Dan does a phenomenal job on this, of course. Another great Evanescence song is his cover of My Immortal. I've watched several reactors, both men and women, sob throughout his fiercely emotional performance. Thank you. And thanks for doing a Dan week! I'll have to catch up. 😊
Yes it is how you feel with PTSD. Honestly, there are different things that give us that. You should never apologize for your feelings. They are real and valid.
I was here at the time of your reaction and meant to comment but here I am😉 I'm South African and we, as a nation went through a long period where our men, young and older were sent to defend our borders. It was always nerve racking as it was an extremely intense war. I've met so many of these men who have never been the same again. Ofcourse PTSD presents itself for many different reasons. I lost my son in a car accident and I don't have PTSD but it definitely affects you forever as part of me died. He Lord carries me through every day. Thankyou for sharing and being "man enough" to show your feelings, big ups to you! God Bless and lottsa love
Never apologize for how you feel, sir. My husbands family were all vets. Two of his brothers served 3 each tours in Vietnam and both served over 30 years in the army. . War changes people. You are lucky to have found your strength in your wife. I enjoy your reactions very much. Thank you.
My little brother...ya... 19 years in.. i credit my loving sister in law for 'waking his soul' again. He was in for last part of 1 and the reboot...then was stationed on the N & S Korea border for 9 months. Why and what he did...i have no idea...he wouldn't talk about. You let it...please feel safe enough with us!
Such a beautiful performance from Dan and I am so pleased that you enjoyed hearing his version. I have found that listening to music is a wonderful catharsis for relieving stress and anxiety. Also thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Dan’s work, it’s truly appreciated my friend. See you on the next one. 🎶✨🔥🔥🔥✨🎶
My son ..a Marine..had 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. How can anyone go to war and not be effected. You Sir are in my prayers. Thank you for ur review. Dan Vasc is the best singer out there. Any song he covers is better than the originals. Bring me to life is my favorite of his because it showcases his many amazing ranges. If you have not listen to Dan sing ZOMBIE...U should..a song that means alot to him and to myself as I cry for it reminds me of a man going into the service as a child and coming out as a man..a man going to war and coming out changed and what a mother feels. I thank God everyday that my son escaped what many did not. God bless you and ur family
I've never seen war but on the news Thank you so much for serving your country and keeping us safe. I have PTSD, of course for other reasons, but I really love that you showed us this side of you that probably no one normally sees. Thank you so very, very much. God bless.
Love this man and his music... he is so totally awesome... We of the Vasc Nation appreciate your nice reactions... The Vasc rabbit hole is deep, and full of wonderful music, performances, emotions, a Great ride... Dan usually makes all his covers better than the original... ❤ Feel for you... my husband was in Nam.... Glad you found the right lady to help you... ❤ Enjoy your Vasc trip❤
As said in so many of the comments “thank you, thank you” so much for your service to our country. We do not do enough for our service men and women. You also helped us to understand your journey a little more. May God bless you and your security blanket. ❤️🤟🏼
This is the first time I’ve watched your channel. Please don’t feel like you have to apologize. I’m very glad that you are man enough to show your emotions and let them out. Good for you. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for your service! We appreciate it. That’s wonderful that Dan contacted you!! I’m jealous! Thank you for your kind words and helping spread info about Dan Vasc. I’m glad you found your wonderful wife! Keep thinking positive.❤️
Thank you for your reaction to this. My husband was a disabled Vietnam Vet. He too, suffered with PTSD, which I don't think ever goes away. I think you can learn to manage it with the help of someone really close. Have you ever thought about writing a book, biography or poetry. It helped Frank quite a bit. Just a thought. Chin up brother!
Never apologise for your feelings, let them out in any way you can, you have seen and experienced things we would only see in our worst nightmares, I am so glad you have your wonderful wife. Bless you, big hugs and thank you for your service. Xxx
Thank you for this heartfelt reaction / you are a lovely man and I am so glad you found your wonderful wife - makes me tear up as well. People can be both the best and worst of life, can’t they? Virtual hug, fine sir!
You're a hero who needs to heal, Marine. There's nothing wrong with those emotions. You're humanity shows. Thank you for your service & the sacrifices you've made. My uncle was a Marine in Vietnam. God bless you & give you peace, dear sir.
First of all God bless you and your family thank you for keeping us safe not going to pretend you know what you experienced and the effect it had on you it had on you it had on you. My son served in Afghanistan at 17 yesterday old. Keeps everything inside. Turning 33 in April. Keeping you alive always❤

❤ God Bless You! Thank you for your service and sacrifice. This was a wonderful reaction and gave a new meaning to the song for me. Thank you for showcasing Dan Vasc.
Perks. You are a great man, because you show us what is inside your heart. Thank you for sharing your feelings with all of us. Know that the more we open up, the more light enters our heart, and this is beneficial. Thankful for the beautiful natural reaction, and as Dan himself says, have an epic day.
Thank you for your reaction to Dans powerful video. Your comments put new meaning to Dan's arrangement and I truly love your sincerity in telling us about your PTSD and the wonderful role your wife has in your life. Dan has suffered from depression and several of his videos are tributes to fellow artists and his emotions are shown as well. When you and Dan allow your listeners, who are strangers and neither family nor friends, to witness your pain or joy your humanity is showing. I applaud you both for your trust in us to understand how important music is as a healing element that can make our hearts sing. I'm from Australia and have service personnel in family and friends and can empathise with you. I subbed when you reacted to AG. Dan's music has the power to uplift.
I thank you for your kind words. I have found dans music to be something that I love. He actually listens. I don’t hide my emotions from people anymore. I used to hide everything inside. I put what I have out there now. So thank you for your empathy and concern. ❤️
I so appreciate your reaction. There's no need to apologize for the way this song (or any other) hits you. This song hits me in a similar fashion, though for different reasons. New subscriber here. Didn't realize you did a week of Dan Vasc reactions. Absolutely love his amazing talent. I'll have to go check out your other reactions.
dude i really appreciate your transparency. Hubby is retired Navy and has been in some sketchy situations so I kinda get it guy. Take care of yourself man
Definitely no apology needed. Thank you for your service and for your perspective on this song. I have never listened to it and thought about it that way; it makes perfect sense. Again, thank you.
Just subbed to you, Brother, from a fellow veteran.God Bless you, and keep you. I understand you. I served 8 years in the Army, and continued to serve another 28 years in Biomedical Engineering at the Veterans Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
I love your reaction to this song. Music and lyrics are so important and very emotional to me. The words to this song are so meaningful. Dan make the cover of the song his own and he made it even better than the original.
First of all, thank you sir for your service. 🇺🇸 I, too have been experienced the “dead inside” trauma after I lost my husband of 42 years. Nothing much more devastating than finding yourself in a time and place you do not recognize. And not to know yourself in the aftermath. I find it very difficult to rejoin society.
The 1st casualty of war is our innocence. First Please let me command you On Finishing this video. I was so moved by your reaction. Thank you for your service. Never ever ever apologized For your emotions. Emotions should not be hidden. Emotions Give us our humanity. By You completing this reaction you have put a face to a Horrific disease. I hope you realize just how many people You have touched in in 1148: minutes. It May seem cliche But you have not only given a name and a face to PTSD. I'm all too familiar with being numb or dead Inside. The world has no color, no smell, no color, food has no taste. Things that brought you pleasure no longer do. It is awful thing to have to battle you're mind on a daily basis. It takes a great deal of strength, stamina, courage. I found a quote That Fits PTSD to a tee but also depression. They said, "That was a long time ago". In reality it is still happening. My depression and my addiction (5 years, 9 months, 1 day clean and sober) Battle daily for "Possession of my soul". Somewhere Between These 2 monsters lies me. Sadly, most days I don't live I exist. I move through life but I am not a part of life. Nietzsche says that if you stare into the abyss the abyss will stare back. Hell isn't fire in brimstone devil and torture, hell is in abyss without Hell isn't fire in brimstone devil and torture, hell is in abyss without sensation or end. Although I live on the edge of that abyss Try so very hard to Try so very hard not to look into it. Somedays I Some days I may lose the battle But I am always winning the war just as you are my friend. You may be interested in disturbs official lyric video of a reason to fight As it addresses Both Both of monsters We have to live with everyday.
Your reaction touched me deeply. I never knew the meaning of the lyrics...i thought they were just referring to having a bad dream. May you surround yourself with those who give you support and peace.
This reaction video is melt-your-heart worthy, brother!!!! ❤️🥲I cried right with you. I loved your comments and transparency….it means you are sharing from your heart and soul. I honor you for that and I honor you for your heroic service to our nation, and the sacrifice of dedication you paid heavily for. You are not alone, and many stand right with you. I am grateful for all you’ve done as a selfless act of love and service. I know it was costly to you in many ways. I pray that all PTSD, stress, trauma, and painful memories get washed off of you, in Jesus’ name! May you be made completely whole and well in spirit, soul, and body. May peace, comfort and exceedingly glad JOY flood you like never before!!! ❤️🕊 Thank you for showing love and support to Beloved Dan….The Treasure From Brazil!!! 🇧🇷🔥🔥❤️😁 #hailvascnation❤️ #hailtothemightymenofvalor⚔️❤️

Thank you for listening and sharing… I really hope your doing better.. from someone who understands.. I’m glad you had Wally and I’m sorry you had to lose him. ❤️
You have nothing to be sorry for, sir. Thank you for sharing how this song has affected you. One really interesting thing that I don't know if you have ever heard, is why Amy Lee wrote the song in the first place. She has said that she was in a terribly-abusive relationship with a man, and she was functioning on the edge of a total breakdown. One day there was one of the people in her creative team (I can't remember exactly what he was doing for the group, but that's not really important.) He gave her a ride to a place they had to be one day, and as they were riding in the car, he asked her, straight out, "Amy...are you happy?" She then broke down and shared with him the things that had been happening in her life, that she hadn't shared with anyone. From that point in time, he began to counsel her and help her get through it all, to the point where she was finally able to release the other guy. That man who helped her, all those years ago, has now been her husband for a long time, and they are very happy (from what I've read, that she has shared). That's who the song was written for, in the hopes that it would also help others who found themselves in a similar situation to what she had been through. Viking Reacts recently put together a mash-up of Dan singing the song, and Amy Lee singing the song. It's his third such mash-up in the last few months. He's very good with it. You can check his channel for his "fan projects," to watch them. I think you will enjoy them. They are superb, and they give you a really good picture about how carefully Dan studies out the songs he sings, and why he's so successful with them. In this case, the mash-up will probably make you cry even more, because the video he used from Amy Lee's performances of the song is already a tear-jerker. - - - - - - - - - - Also...my dad was a part of the first troops who went overseas for WW2. At barely 18, he was in the mechanized and medical infantry unit that followed General Patton everywhere. He was also one of the last soldiers who didn't come home until after being part of "the occupation" in Italy. One of the greatest things I value about him, was that he spent the energy and time to teach us (his children) about the things that we now find ourselves fighting, right here in the U.S., that must be ousted. Back when he first came home, nobody had a clue about PTSD or anything like that. He ended up with alcohol problems, but there came a time when he overcame that (a long story, concerning my mom's love and stubbornness, and her great love for him). Still...he passed away at age 54, in 1973. By that time, he had finally been at peace with himself, in his life, but the stress had already grasped his body. He was one of the best men I have ever known. Not too long before he passed on, I had married a man with similar problems. His service time was in Viet Nam, where he was in the Big Red One. In one battle, his APC was blown up, and he took a load of shrapnel at the back of his neck. He also came home with an alcohol problem, and a lot of physical pain as well. There was an episode at one point, when I was pregnant with our fourth child, where one night (when he was still in the army, up in Anchorage, Alaska) when the shrapnel pulled some nasty tricks on him, and he almost died. He was rushed to the Elmendorf AF Hospital, and they were able to get most of the junk out of there without making things worse. Unfortunately, he still fights some of that pain to this day. He also ran away from our family a few years later, divorcing me and ending up married again shortly thereafter. He's still alive, but he's never been able to get through the pain and the emptiness. He does spend some time with his kids (the ones who live near him in Washington State), but it's very difficult for them and him, both. He's not a bad man, but...yeah...life has not been easy for him since that military stint. I'm really glad that Dan's music (and music in general) has helped you. Even without all of that piled up on me, STILL...music has always been my LIFE. Listening to Dan is very therapeutic for me (and a ton of others), as well. Thank you for this precious reaction. 😀
@@ddperks1131 you never have to apologise for being human and have an emotional reaction. It proves that you have a big heart and after what you have gone through you are entitled to feel how you feel. If you can make a viewer cry then you have done a good job with your reactions.
Dan is so close to 1M subs, if you loved his rendition of this song and want to hear more, go check out his channel and give him a sub, lets get him to 1M subs!
Hi, thank you for this reaction to Dan, please don’t apologize for your emotions. I wonder if you have heard of EFT (emotional freedom techniques)? If not, I would suggest you read about it and give it a try to help you let go of the trauma
This is what I refer to as the Nefertiti song. See, in old Egypt, if the major priesthoods didn't like you, they made sure your name was obliterated everywhere. If the gods can't read your name, your SOUL is bound to your crumbling corpse. No Heaven, no after life. In old Egypt, there was no worse punishment.
@@ddperks1131 🥹😓 i have my ups and downs... I know what ptsd is,i know depression..and how dark life can be.. But also know that you never must give up.. There is always something positive.
