A young Dan singing "Dream On" He also dedicated the "Elvis Trilogy " To his Father who passed 6-7 years ago of cancer. He shares a picture of his Father and him at the end. "Love Me Tender " The harmonica he plays in "Amazing Grace" his father gifed him when he was 7. Dan is a very humble man. He has in his covers documented his growth starting around 2009. He dedicates and shares his suicide prevention in his channel he sings" Don't Give Up, You Are Loved", shares a heart felt comment on a cover Chester did. Usually he will share some comments right after he does a cover . His Metal Version of "America's National Anthem ". Is incredible !!! However you must !! watch his "Apology video" "Right" after !! As an opera singer, you may be fairly interested in seeing his cover of Nessun Dorma, from Turandot, or perhaps his doing the choir in Handel's Messiah "Hallelujah Chorus." Seriously, he has about 250 coverss, and also originals with his band Fearless, and appearance with Orion's Reign. I have yet to hear a clunker in the bunch.

Dan had only one camera and did several takes for a lot of his songs in recent years, including this one! He is amazing in all possible ways, and he said he would get a second camera for the filming of the next video, which is long overdue. ;)

If you watch one of Dan‘s early pieces, “Siege of Paris” from November 2010, you can see him using his cell phone in his room so starting off with just a cell phone is fine. Eventually, Dan has graduated to multiple cameras. It’s all a process that he makes look extremely easy, but we all know it was very hard work. Thank you for your reaction.
I think I’ve heard Dan say it’s 1 camera and he films it 3 times at different angles , he made mention on Bro Science- that people think he has 3 cameras but he doesn’t!

Actually if you go through military boot camp and put in as a reservist then yes you served in the military serving in the armed forces doesn't always mean active duty

From what he said in the past, he started with using his laptop camera, then his phone, now has one camera and does every piece three times. Takes the audio from the best and then does the video edits with the camera shots.

He leaves his old videos when he was just starting youtube. The first videos were dine with a cell phone in his mothers house. You can see his prigress and learn how much work he put into practicing the skills needed to make a production of this level.. He us a really nice guy.
Thank you for your reaction, really enjoyed it. Please, big PLEASE, listen to Dan doing Adeste Fideles in Latin. He also does Angels heard on high in Italian, German, Portuguese with 65 layers of his own voice to form a choir, and then finish off in English. The chorus is done in Latin also.
Dan does a weekly podcast on his friends channel "fearthebeardo" called bro science, warning just in case, it's not for the politically correct, Dan is very unapologetically him. With that being said, his music always gets brought up at some point during the show. Dan records in his studio, if it says he did the drums and guitar it's with a program he uses I forget the name, or he'll get someone like Victor the guitar nerd to do parts. Mixing, mastering, filming, editing, and producing is done by Dan in most cases. When you are watching him sing you are actually watching very well done "lip syncing". I put quotes around lip syncing because he is actually singing in the video the way he normally would (albeit with some acting as well) but what you are hearing isn't what your watching. It's a genius way of getting perfect vocals on a "live" music video.
Have you seen/heard Dan's "Hallelujah Chorus- One Man Choir" yet? It's absolutely phenomenal! 270+ takes, 24 Dan's performing all parts, including Soprano. Pay attention to what the "Dan's" are doing & you'll even catch a little of Dan's sense of humor. Although from a completely different style, since you mentioned his lighting set-up, I thought I'd mention that his lighting in his Iron Maiden "Number of the Beast" video is top tier. The sepia lighting really added to the eeriness of that song, which he released on Halloween last year. Of course, Dan's vocals are fantastic. He definitely does a great Bruce Dickinson & has also done great covers of "The Trooper" & "Two Minutes to Midnight." Loved your reaction to our amazing Dan Vasc. 😊
