Danify means: To make something more Danish. Not anymore! Now it means - To make something more like Dan Vasc! Dan can redo any song and make them much better! My favourite version of O Holy Night is the one with Jussi Björling, and now Dan's version! Perfection!
He reminds me of Freddie Mercury (& not for the usual reasons.) His sound is so unique that once you hear him, you never forget his voice or his name. His rendition of Amazing Grace is incredible too! Merry Christmas ❤💚❤

I think next time anyone asks me what genre of music I like, I'm just going to say Dan Vasc. He is becoming a genre all to himself - so unique and powerfully different. This one blew me away!
Victor is AMAZING; skilled & powerfull. DANIEL poured himself into & took us for an insane ride of classic, comanding, majestic, powefull, & full emotion Performance. DANIELs range sound so effortless & his voice fry ( or death growl, i dont know what is the correct word) is..i dont know, i was &still..lost for words. Everytime I listen, I find so many more details but can not bring them up in words. DANIEL is on a league of his own..
I’ve been loving this rendition since Dan released it, and you are the first reactor vid i’ve seen who actually let it play and did not pause the song 15 times to gab. Hearing the whole song, intact and whole is a big part of experiencing a song.

Christmas or not, i can't stop watching that video. Loved your reaction, and as always, you do it so great, and great that you also pay attention to Victor's awesome contribution. Dan seems to evolve and change for every new song. 'Number of the beast' was completely different both vocally and visually from everything he's done before. And now, this time with new haircut, and he sang the whole beginning of it very straight, with very little vibrato, and almost zero reverb on the mic. Beautiful and very simplistic. And then he brought in a totally new tone and way of singing (almost gospellike) in the word 'peace'. Victor brought some downright bluesguitar in, which i haven't heard him do before. And the 'earthquake' visual effect went so well with the growl in the phrase 'let all within us'....very symbolic metaphor. It is indeed glorious to watch Dan's creative evolution.

Honestly, I hadn't heard of Dan Vasc until this song popped up on my You Tube queue. I'm blown away by his vocal talent. AMAZING!!! I saw another reaction video to this song and the guy panned it. I ripped him, the arrogant little prick. Anyway, Dan Vasc is my new favorite. He's amazing. Thanks for a great reaction video!!!
So this song, O Holy Night, and Angels we have heard on high, they were both written for powerful voices. When you hear artist, like Luciano Pavarotti, sing, O Holy Night and then hear Dan sing it while Dan does change it up a little bit, but he still stays with the spirit of that song. Those songs are for powerful voices, and Dan has the voice, and Victor has the talent for the guitar. If the songs could soar in the sky with the Eagles, those two have carried it up to the sky.
Been catching reactions to this since it dropped last night. There has been some bits of surprise and even consternation over the growl and many reactors stop and question. Thanks for not doing that. You just enjoyed Dan doing Dan and Victor being magnificent and this is now my favorite rendition of Oh Holy Night as well. I agree. I don't mind a pause or two here or there, but every few seconds with more commentary than listening, gets to me really fast, and I get OUT of there just about as fast.

@@Christine-hl4rl A lot of people think that these growls are demonic - and yes, in some metalbands they are exactly used for that expression. But Dan is different in that way, he doesn't do anything without purpose. So when people say that about this song, they probably didn't listen to the lyrics, or they did listen but don't understand what it's about.
