One of my favorite Dan videos. Shows his silly, light hearted side. He has a great ability to make the songs sound like the original. He has a great sense of humor and has the self confidence to make fun of himself. Not to mention the "epic" hair flip and the "eye" candy.❤ So far there's not a single song of Dan's that I don't like. He can sing it all!
It definitely said it was a cover by Dan. I am sure that he would not use the original, he has covered other songs where he sounds almost the same as the original artist. I really enjoyed the video and Dan absolutely loves “Star Trek” so it’s not a surprise that he would be watching it. It was 100% Dan singing. He would have stated it in his description if it was not him. He had a lot of fun and just did something different. Dan is a Trekkie and Star Wars nerd. Thanks for your reaction to Dan and I hope you will continue to do so.
Love his impish sense of humor on the walking (when not falling lol) tour of the outdoor area at the family beach home. There are many talented vocal artists. Fair enough. But, in addition to enjoying his unquestionable talent and this humorous video, Dan reaches out to fans verbally (you already know about the 'apology' lol) in several videos. Fans feel they're worth talking to in addition to performing for, imo. And believe me, VascNation is behind him a gazillion percent on both counts. Thank you for continuing to react to Dan.🙂

@mamalinhager -- Hey! I'm glad to hear just how that was filmed! I had been wondering just how Dan did all of that, and wasn't aware that Davi had actually been involved in that one! I love Davi just as much as Dan. I am the proud owner of his OST for the game Coromon (both his original digital creation, and the piano version that was done for him...they are both available on Bandcamp). I watch the video if I'm feeling at all DOWN. It's a GREAT pick-me-upper. 😀

Yes that was Dan singing! This was just a fun video he put together. Something different than the normal. Dan wouldn’t put his name on a song he didn’t sing. I though it was very well done and I really liked seeing the fun side of Dan. Love that he can make fun of himself! Nice review! 🎶🎶🎶
It was Dan. Dan ALWAYS picks up a lot of the similarities to the originals...on purpose. You should check out Viking Reacts' three amazing mash-ups between Dan singing and the original artists singing. You can see how well he STUDIES the originals, then produces them even BETTER, with his very own voice. For one thing, you can also hear the orchestration he uses (some from MIDI, and some from live sources, and some that he himself even plays now and again)
