Teacher: Alright do your presentation about government Bad Kid: I have handed to you a catalogue of all the ways the IRS and the Federal Government is stealing from you by the year. Now pay attention, I'm gonna explain to you how captial gains tax is theft
This guy doesn’t pay his fighters thats why they dont come out....except jon jones the goat literally ans gets paid peanuts...ufc is hurting dont be fooled theres no big names left...my other comment like this got deleted
At 10:23 when Dana said “any questions?” I literally was like “thank god he’s done. He looks like he’s gonna have a heart attack” 2 seconds later: “About this sack of SHIT and his lying!” I was caught off guard 😂😂
Floyd hasnt whipped anyone. He hugged and clinched them to death. Oscar looked better after that fight than he did before the fight. Floyd, the EPO blood doping convicted felon
"Before we pay one dollar in purse money, Volanovski got paid more to wear his Vemon fight kit than oscar paid his whole fight card." Ts had me rolling.
Dana White is a national treasure. All the people that claim to "hate him" will miss him when he's gone, and will get a real taste of how shitty things can get when someone else takes over.
@Stkyfngrs Zmooth would you rather him come out and say “these are lies trust me I have proof!” And then provide nothing more than that? What’s wrong with stating the facts
So 54 events can u tell me the 54 main events right off the bat I can tell you the boxing ones ? I would prefer the fighters get the go out of business money
Honestly, Dana wants to compare his pay slips with Oscars.... what about what pro sports people earn, not Oscars promotions... what about footballers, soccer, race-car drivers, tennis players, golfers... Dana can get the fuck outa here
@@power50001562 true but still Dana can still certainly pay his fighters more he only pays his fighters 16% of revenue and compared to other sports leagues which pay in the 40-50% range
I used to be the guy that would say, "the fighters are underpaid" but when Dana built the infrastructure so fighters can fight during covid it completely changed my mind. Dana builds an infrastructure so fighters can come and fight. From stars to nobodies.
I'm a former professional boxer, but I have to admit that Dana White is so right...I love boxing to death to this day, but lower level fighters like myself, we put our lives on the line just as the biggest names do but we take more of a beating and in some instances we are forced by our own teams to fight 6 or 8 rounds for 6 or 8 hundred dollars where we end up going home with 3 or 4 hundred dollars and broken noses ribs and what have you, split open faces....and in almost all the situations we have to come out of our own pockets to go to the hospital. Mind you we have to pay our trainers and corner. The main event fighters make enough money together to pay everyone else, sometimes 5 times what we make. Lastly, it's the promoters that only set up the fights, who take home the 🥓 🥓 🥓 🥓 🥓 🥓. They set up the fights and regulate the money 💰...set the prices so as to make sure they're going to take home 10-15 times more than the main event fight.
It's funny that a guy like you only got ten like, and some person who has never worked for the ufc gets hundred of likes. Dana gets mad when money comes up, why because deep down he knows he's f...cking the fighters out of money, nobody said don king was cheap and that was 30's years ago. Why isn't the number one fighter making tyson money some 30 to 35 years later. Dana you got payed so don't get mad just pay your fighters.
@JoshuaGonzalezEducational Everyone knows Dana is not a fighter. I agree Oscar is one of the greatest boxers of all time. However Oscar sucks at MMA promoting, where Dana is the greatest MMA promoter of all time.
He still ignored the event revenue % split(gb was 45, ufc ain't close to that. It's sad people just buy this crap. Still entertaining as hell but the bs spin was definitely there
@@CHUNKYBLAQQ did you even watch the fucking video? Volk got paid more for WEARING HIS FUCKING UNIFORM than the ENTIRE FUCKING ROSTER OF GB (18 fucking fighters!)
@@ChiefLunar compare the brands dude. It's an experimental upstart vs the biggest brand on the planet. You're not gonna blow the entire budget on something new and possibly barely break even(or even lose money) when you have no idea how it's going to sell. The ufc knows it's gonna make a shit ton of money for every ppv(at least1/2 a million buys worth guaranteed in the new ESPN deal). This is not apples to apples. Thus, dollar figures are irrelevant. Revenue percentage is what counts. Hope this at least makes you think again about it. Enjoy your life dude
Seriously, why is it the UFC can blow money on things that’ll keep making them more money yet fighters never get pay increases while the business’ revenue goes up? It’s slimey as shit.
@@isDatBoi lol did you not watch this video? They’re all well aware when they sign what they’re getting and happy with it you beta stuffed estrogen bubble I feel what you’re saying they overall should know their worth BEFORE signing and if they don’t then that’s THEIR FAULT. They’re all on hands and knees grateful and begging to be in the ufc regardless of what we think they should get paid they’re fighters they can handle their own without your cry baby back bs
Fuckin love how Dana has no filter. He’s not like all the other heads of sports or companies where they are scared of being canceled or just some shit. He speaks his mind. Love that shit!
I love the fact he told the reporters that they could have done all this investigative research themselves and reported it. Doing their job for them while running a multi-faceted billion dollar business
@@user-hh2is9kg9j oh i'd agree he probably didn't do it himself however someone at the UFC company did, but it sure as hell wasn't any of the "journalists" and "reporters" in the room
@@user-hh2is9kg9j It doesn't take much to find that information other than a computer and some search terms. Dana is running a multi billion dollar business. I am sure he could find that information and more even without using his current position, status or money.
"I've said this before and I'll say it again: he's accomplished a lot inside of the ring. Outside of the ring the guy's an absolute fkn loser." Dana wants all the smoke lol
Dana White is a pile of s*** he talks about fairness and yet Jon Jones failed three different drug test and goes to jail and still gets to defend his belt. Then he kicks out Fighters because they have the audacity to say they're being f***** over Dana White
Not legit bro. In order for those receipts to be valid, they have to have ads on the back of the receipt with a possible free small fry from McDonald’s.
@Garrett Kjellberg but then again everyone's salary in all sports is different, the dudes who are legit the top/cream of the crop are making the most for a reason. Like he said, you want to be the best/get paid the most show you want it. What's your point?
Honestly, Dana wants to compare his pay slips with Oscars.... what about what pro sports people earn, not Oscars promotions... what about footballers, soccer, race-car drivers, tennis players, golfers... Dana can get the fuck outa here
And that's why I like Dana and the MMA... coming from a boxer... well, a wrestler turned into a boxer... well a wrestler to a street fighter to a boxer back to a grappler.
Only thing I would complain about fighter pay is sponsorships. Fighters used to get paid for sponsors that they put on there shorts and banners. That helped out for the new guys coming up.
Umm he was protecting the fighters privacy, IMO. And it’s right, he told the truth, it ain’t nobody’s damn business. Those “people” are called Presstitutes for a goddamn reason!
@Kelly T Im Replying to your comment. He was transparent as to all the things that he supposed to be transparent about. Same way you could be completely transparent if I was talking to you, you not telling me your private information does not mean you now are not transparent ....because some stuff is none of my business...
Before the Chavez jr vs Canelo fight Chavez sr spoke out about how de la Hoya really has no power over the business that happens before any fight he basically said they just have him there for his name, it’s other people running golden boy behind him.
@@imoeazy i mean he's right that he pays his fighters more than oscar. of course that doesn't mean Dana pays his fighters good. that just means Oscar is worse 😂

The only entertainment during a pandemic was UFC..Took all the backlash.. It was a ripple effect to realizing life can go on IN SPORTS. Thank you, Dana.
They had no choice to be fair, they had a big contract with Espn and had to put a certain amount of events on and because there’s no union or collective bargaining for the fighters they have no choice like other sports league
@@Bickle121 well if it was impossible to then they couldn't have. At the end of the day the UFC and Dana made it happen. The best and realest sport in the world. Let's focus on the positive and the facts, instead of assuming stuff
@@coenhealy-johnson5194 yup and it is filled with whataboutism and selfpraise with "I'm a businessman and you are not" but some fighters pay still doesn't even cover fightcamp travel expenses medical bills etc. 16 % of the income of ufc goes to the fighters.
I've seen this previously but never made a comment... Stuff like this cracks me up every single time because it is just straight to the point and factual, and the fact that he continually slams ODLH is priceless. Thank you for improving my very bad day.
@@WeirdEdz cus the whole thing was staged lol Dana clearly told the reporters to have someone ask him that question….why would the reporter ask the question (that Dana had pre planned already) and then proceed to say no no?? 😂🤣
Sean Strickland won the fuckin Zmw belt last Saturday and didn’t bring home $40,000. Not by a long shot. Adasanya was defending his belt and didn’t make $50,000. The UFC just bought the WWE (the merger was just completed days ago) for $21 billion. A PROMOTIONAL PARTNER paying your fighters well doesn’t mean YOU pay them shit. Dana calling someone else a scumbag is fucking hilarious
That’s just not true. Isnt Izzy’s base pay 1 mil then he makes another couple million to about 6 million depending on how well the card sold due to pay-per-view points he earns. I agree that’s not a huge amount considering he was a champion but he makes BANK idk stricklands base pay but standard for a top contender is around 150k to show 150k on top if he wins
Gotta give Dana credit. He’s direct and honest and without him and the brothers who bought the ufc in 01 none of this would be happening. I hope he’s the boss at the ufc for another 20 years.
@Xile808 you could literally say that about any successful person on plant earth lol shut up what a dumb mindset its like saying oh eisntein discovered the photoelectric effect? psssh somebody else would off why is he getting so much praise. lol sounds like a couch sloth trying to demean any success somebody has cause hes got none himself
Dana is a liar Oscar didn’t even underpay them he gave them a fair percentage of the Revenue which wasn’t much generated but it was fair. “None of your bussines” just shows how scared he is to reveal fighter compensation. He’s a scumbag.
Is he though? Have you never heard of other such famous sharks as Bob Arum...Don King...Lou DiBella...Jim McMahon? All of these guys made a ton of money and their athletes got shafted too.
I lost it when he said “does he still have ryan Garcia ?” Technically he does but Ryan’s already bad mouthed him in the past saying he’s not a very good promoter. He’s leaving when that contracts up 🏃🏽♂️
@@henrychinaski5938 I don´t know about last fight, but some years ago it did happen. Ryan was selling mad tickets for a nobody and he turned down a fight because Oscar wasn´t paying him. If you are selling thousands of tickets, I would imagine you want to see 6 digit paydays. But they did extend his contract in 2019. Of course then Oscar was going strong with Canelo and DAZN.
Maybe, maybe not. Depends on who reaches out to Garcia. Also, depends on DAZN. If DAZN end their deal with Oscar, you know Garcia is hopping off that ship. Oscar has nowhere to go. I fully expect DAZN to cut ties with Oscar as he has so little to offer. Ryan Garcia is still just a contender and barely fighting at the moment. Vergil Ortiz is a solid contender and in a good spot. What else is there? GBP have hosted 8 events this year. 1 with Jo-Jo Diaz who isn´t a big draw. A co-promotion with Hearn, with Haney headlining against Linares. Jaime Munguia is a solid name and a good draw. And he is likely facing Rosado, which will draw some eyes. And GBP did sign Gilberto Ramirez. Honestly, there isn´t much there. Munguia, Ramirez, Jo-Jo and Linares are not big draws. Nor is Vergil.
