As the Holy Week continues, Danao City showcases its heartwarming display of devotion and rich cultural heritage through its Procession of Santo Entierro this Good Friday, featuring 38 intricately decorated floats/ Carrozas, each bearing witness to the story of Christ's passion and resurrection.
Danao, as a City of Faith, Heritage and Pilgrimage, takes pride in its deep-rooted religious customs, as families from across the city diligently prepared their Carrozas, pouring their hearts into preserving and honoring the traditions passed down through generations.
The participation of Danawanon families as Camareros, or caretakers of the Carrozas, further enriches the significance of the procession.
