Dang. Every time I watch this I say "There's no way I'm gonna watch this whole thing" and I always end up sitting here for the full 10 minutes. It's just too awesome to turn away from..
Man!! I love how she plays...she has has fun.. and doesnt have a snobby attitude... The only guitar player I can think of that can keep up with her is Allan Holdsworth... That would be an awesome combination...
man i just can't stop playing clips from this concert, xyg, tom and jerry (?)... and now this. crazy hair, pink shirt... everything is perfect besides the music. this is a historic event! i'd buy this dvd (if exists) and watch it whenever i feel suicidal...
I can't believe it!!! I'd love to go to one of her concerts!!! the way she moves her fingers.....just awesome!!! and that entrance after the drums' solo...wow
I have seen her five times but never with this group. Just saw her in phx solo. Two hours non stop she signed a photo is toke with her in 2015. She was doing a duo with Edmar a harp player from South American
You've seen Tatum play? That's fantastic! He died at least 30 years before I was born, but I'd give a finger to have seen him play. You're right too, this woman has it all.
hmm maybe I'll just get shot down for saying this but a bit of her playing here reminds me of michel camilo. really great stuff, I like this recording better than the album version.
lol that's funny. No but really, I know quite a bit about the [former] Hiromi trio, and I'd be willing to bet anything that the drummer here is Martin Valihora. You can even tell it's him by his drumming style.
You must not know DiCenso's style that well if you mistake it for Valihora's. Heck, you must not know DiCenso well at all if you mistake him for ANOTHER PERSON! Valihora's website confirms the drummer in the video him because he is listed as playing with Hiromi in this 2004 Yokohama Blitz event.
